I received a sms saying my desktop speaker and living rm sub woofer had arrived from UK and the courier guy already delivered to my office.... :sport-smiley-004: Even though today is not a working day. 1)I rush down to office. 2)Get the guard to open the gate. 3)I switch on the lights and air con. 4)I switch on my PC and Outlook to pretend to check mails. 5)Lastly, I eagerly open up my speakers. They looked so good and I decided to test them on the spot.... :dribble: My music sound so good :dribble: For those who had follow my blog will know I bought a Aktimate Maxi which is the bigger brother of this Mini. I plan to put the maxi in the living room and the mini in the study rm as my desktop speaker. This mini had won quite a number of awards for Best iPod dock/speaker and since I always play from my iPhone, this is the ideal speaker for me. U can check out the spec from the website below. http://www.aktimate.com.au/ http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=47187&view=findpost&p=705959 -

Oh.. Construction company.. Cool.. Sure hv lots of lobang... Haa.. Get yr supplier to sponser your tiles, laminate, tables, chairs, lights, etc etc!!! Haa... -
I totally agreed... For example, Eames lounge chair. I tried OM and feel the angle of backrest is not suitable for me. But when I tried Lush, shiok! I can fall asleep in it.... Another example, Emas Moulded Plastic armchair. I tried OM, Logans, comfort design & Lush and there is no special feeling... But when I tried Picket Rail, it feel solid! Plastic surface is different too. chair more stable and much heavier....

Yup. When you select your unit, there is a option to select floor tiles and internal doors. I opt out cos the original HDB doors I don't like. There is a discount of a few thousand if I'm not mistaken.. I think with or without doors don't really affect the reno process. Just that I get to choose my own doors. -

Need some help on mirrors. I'm currently looking for mirror for dressing table but i'm not interested in IKEA type mirror. I am looking for 2 types. 1) Mirror that can have lights shinning forward or 2) A plain mirror and I will fix a spot light on top. Anyone got any ideas where I can go see see? Thanks.. -

I believe water proofing is only for the floor. It is a layer below the tiles that keeps water out. You can drill into any wall except the main beam. It is only whether the air con guys want to do it or not.... Must play hard ball with them... :yamseng: -
