Is your cat huge?? You can put the speakers on tv console or get a more stable stands. I plan to add sands to the speaker stands soon to improve the stability.

I think the worry should not be on the transformer but on the system. One thing that constantly bugging me every time I import electrical items from overseas is that it will be dead on arrival, something happen and the local dealer refuse to help as I didn't buy from them and lastly, spolit within a few months. But so far, touch wood, nothing has happened.... :dancingqueen: Come to the transformer. I had imported a Vornado fan from US and bought a transformer from SLT. It had been working for weeks now and I had been using it at full speed. And the better transformer come with fuse that will protect the system if there is a current surge. So I think u are pretty safe with a transformer. Happy shopping!! :yamseng:

Cost is $3000 MYR. Yes I pay in ringgit. Somemore now the rate is so good for us Sporean. His name is Mr. Ho. He will bring all the material to your place for u to select n feel. He will also measure and quote u on spot. After that his guy will call u in 2 weeks time to arrange a timing to install. Installation is fast n workmanship is good. I not sure if that is the norm nowadays but he uses plastic hook for the curtain and I highly recommend that as it wont rust, easily removable and can be adjusted! Plus he give me a few to keep spare. Nice guy. His contact: 97916035. Maybe mention Kim from CCK Sunshine recommend.

Hi, I as in the same situation as you a while back. That time I went for an audition at HN Millenia and I was pretty impress with the mirage speaker. Then I found out that Amazon got the same set for a much much lower price. But somehow I did not buy it due to a preference for 2.1 system. Did you audition for this speaker? If I'm not wrong, HN is selling for more than $2K. So you already had a saving of more than 60%! But shipping for this may be more than $100 since the sub will be heavy. Plus another $80 for a transformer. Still save 50%! I will probably go for it if I'm you. Back to the 3M filter, my ID is coming this sat to take the connector to go search for fittings. We are taking our time.. Haa... Will keep u inform again.

I think depend on what you want. Feature wall for me is to hide cables (tv power cable and HDMI cable). If you can live with the cables, then no need to spend the extra money. Use the money save to buy a bigger tv :sport-smiley-004: Tv console for me is to store all my AV stuff and also to hide all cables. Some will just buy a TV console for TV and AV stuff. (TV stand on console) Some will just hang the TV on the cement wall and a console for AV stuff. (tv power cable and HDMI cable are visible) For me I prefer the clean look. So I spend more on look and less on AV.
