  1. Wa lau... now become old bird... but still better than ongcs, he is guru :sport-smiley-004: For Taobao, I still pretty new... Only bought some stuff using 65diagou. Had 2 shipment with them and so far so good... I'm trying out Amcom with dragonnite and I'm getting 2 chairs and a carpet. Of course dragonnite help me almost 99%, I just select the stuff... :D Those info I share for TB are those I read in this forum or encounter in 65diagou. My next huddle will be buying using credit card. But if you wanna ask me abt Amazon, I'm pretty old bird I guess... The only thing I had not done in Amazon is sent the damaged item back. :good:
  2. No no.. not today... I mean after u finish setting up everything including today purchases... :dribble: Let us know the good news!!
  3. Noted! Popcorn in living rm :sport-smiley-004: Maybe I will pop by after you fix up your new toy later?? Maybe Deviansyh wanna join too? Btw, what r u getting? Or can't let your missus know in case she is monitoring our threads?? :notti:
  4. Envy envy envy..... :bleah: I think I may get a Popcornhour for my bedroom... Not so fast though.... I had already shift the Aktimate mini and stands to bedroom. Later will get a tv and a popcorn! Btw, since Aktimate is an active speaker, the audio output from Popcorn to Aktimate should be ok right?
  5. Not getting any stuff from amazon recently... Saving... :D But I did join Dragonnite for only 2 purchases from tb... just 2 chairs.. nothing much... :notti: u must be enjoying your new system hor.... :dribble:
  6. Sygnur, I thought you are an active Amazon shopper?? :sport-smiley-004: Why do u need to join gp buy? :notti:
  7. U life saver!!! I was trying to hide some of the dirty grout by moving the chairs on top of it in case my wife see those... Btw, how much is it? Guess I'm going to make a trip to home fix tonight!
  8. Hi Mayap76, see the above quote from prev pages. The hand wash's link provided. I bought this for gp buy but not for me. Quite a few had bought this though. All lazy bums... :bleah: lol......
  9. Boys and girls!! The last package is here!!!! :sport-smiley-004:
  10. Yes. I would think so. But I'm not sure how will Amcom staff pack those small items together. If you did try, please update us.. :notti:
  11. Definitely getting one of this for my future house... haaa... :sport-smiley-004: Get the most expensive version at 6k rmb, shipping domestic is 300 rmb, shipping to singapore by Amcon (2 cubic meter) is 1100rmb. Total cost is $1500 sgd... Don't sound too ex to me... I know people already spend this amount on their Grohe shower system. :yamseng: 按摩浴缸亚克力 扇形浴缸双人1.5M压克力三角冲浪浴缸观博
  12. Why not drill? nail may crack the wall or chip off small pieces of cement. And using a anchor plus screw is definitely stronger than nails. Of course unless your wall is wood... Oh ya.. I better not let her see your post on VS... :P
  13. We go by Amcom for big item (when I say big, I mean tables, chairs, sofa, bed post, tv console, etc) because Amcon charge minimum 1 cubic meter. (550rmb = $110sgd) and also they charge 50rmb per link (meaning if they help u buy, they will charge 50rmb for table, another 50rmb for bed post, etc) That is the reason why we go to 65diagou for smaller stuff. 50rmb is $10sgd leh.... quite a lot. hope that is clear.
  14. Not sure what is your item. IF $10 item, shipping $3. STill ok la... :notti: Normally for me, I will buy if 1) not available in Singapore 2) available in Singapore but local cost more than 100% in TB 3) available in Singapore and local cost more 50% to 100% in TB but I super like So basically I give my reasons to shop a lot... :sport-smiley-004:
  15. 92. Play like mad during the weekend. Additive... u?
  16. A tip I used for your first step. I use hoyoyo to search the stuff I want. The site is in English so it is easier. Then you copy the item description in Chinese and paste in Taobao to search. Then u will have the exact item! http://sg.hoyoyo.com/
  17. Oh.. U r back! Welcome... :sport-smiley-004:
  18. Just now playing candy crush so the replies to you are very vague. :D I normally just use a microfibre cloth and some magic clean cleaner to remove the water stain. Need to rub on the surface a few times though. I read somewhere that they recommend vinegar to remove water stain but I never try it so can't comment. But I did notice something. The HDB issued tap's water stain is much harder to remove than the Hansgrohe tap. :notti:
  19. Welcome... Fellow CCKian!! :sport-smiley-004: Your link not working leh....
  20. Very nice clock!!! Worth the wait!! :good:
  21. I think the technology of LED now is already very advance. No more glaring like what you heard. (But glaring can also be wrong wattage selected, higher wattage than required) To be safe, get the branded one. Like Philips or OptiLED. And for downlight, u can select the angle of beam (narrow angle for picture lighting, wide for corridor lighting), wattage (this will determine the brightness). My ID is good in this and he brought me to OptiLED showroom in Toh Guan to show me the different type and their effect on the room. My reading lamp is now using E27 Osram warm white LED and I love it cos it is not hot like normal bulb and the warm white has a very pleasing effect on my reading.
  22. Mine so far ok. Got micro scratches but it due to my laziness cos I always put the heavy pot on it. Anyway the scratches can be remove easily with CIF. Definitely no rust. All stainless steel or chrome stuff will have water stain if you leave water on it. Unless u wipe the sink dry after every use. Who would do that? Well, I did that the 1st week after moving in. Now too lazy... Cos water stain can be easily remove also. I use boiling water to clean once a week. No poping sound leh... Let's see if there is any other feedback from other users.
