Dear Mr EL. You have spoken too soon. Punctuality wise, the sofa was delivered within the stipulated time. But your delivery men seems to be in a rush as they rushed thru the dismantling and assembling. Luckily the protective plastic cover wasn't removed when they moved the sofa in, else my main door would have been scratched. Sadly I couldn't say the same for my floor. The stainless steel leg managed to leave scratch marks on my tiles and couldn't be removed. The guy even insist its not scratches. There's still a quite a gap at the joining section of the L and the 2 seater. Its not visible from the front though.

A very old thread indeed... was trying to find out more abt the shop before committing to buy and stumble into this thread. Bought from them in the end as I find the service very friendly and good. The sales lady wasn't pushy and gave lots of suggestions and opinions. Hopefully all goes well when the tables are delivered.

took the plunge and bought the sofa from EL.. hopefully all is well.. =)

luckily i stumble into this thread... also took a liking to a sofa i saw in FC IMM. But think will avoid the shop to save the hassle of complaining and getting or begging them to replace... forum is our only revenue for consumers to meet and discuss and share experiences. Govt won't be able to help much and they won't too, since they do not patronise these shops selling sofas at few K.... we will have to help each other.

Hi All, just wish to check anyone face carpentry defects like scratches, chips, dents? And how did your contractor/ID rectify? Change the laminate or just use white sticker or white paint to cover? For mine, some were being covered up by white paint but i find it too obvious and ugly so personally i can't accept. And also the generally do they laminate the underside of the drawer? For mine some have and some do not. So i was wondering...

Just went there to check out their bathrm basin. Served by Serena and she is friendly IMO. Did not commit anything but have to say that their designs are rather nice and some are different from some other shops. Price wise, can't comment as i did not do any homework on that yet.
