Yup got aircon running 9pm - 7am daily for MBR, other rooms seldom on.... servicing every 4 mths for MBR unit, others 6-12mths. Washing the filter weekly.... so far no problem

I m staying in toa payoh too high floor >25. The wind wont flow constantly to one direction, so in certain mth totally no wind blowing in..... It is good to have windy place but dun forget about the dust!

Haha... how can Italian made tiles have same quality as China made tiles? Have you ever made any comparison from the test report or not? No offence but definetely imposible to say Italian and China made tiles are equal in quality.

Shows like Comex, Sitex (at end of the year) are generally cheaper than what is available in the retail shops and usually have lots of freebies throw in. So if you need one or thinking of upgrading then head down there...avoid weekends as definitely will frustrate you with jam crowds !! & parking not really cheaper..... those they sell cheap is discontinued model..... can get even cheaper from neighbourhood shops....

Please read the reno guide.... it is illegal to do wall/floor concealed wiring or switches. Unless it is original from HDB (usually for those new flats, all electrical and plumbing are already concealled......

i never compared side by side..... can't find any shop to have these 2 brands displayed side by side but i had seen both in different ocassion.... no one can give perfect judgement lah anyway, just go ahead with your own eyes and ear

I have been using Hitachi 9500 for almost 2 years..... no problem at all! Picture is superb! Actually both are good and leading brand, that time i choosed Hitachi over Panasonic is because the design of Hitachi look nicer (sleeker)... and also coz it is made in Japan with 3 years warranty (that time Panasonic only give 1 year warranty)

it is not a good idea..... you are not experienced to handle chemical material and it is not easy to DIY I bet the ID/contractor will deny for any defect of their wormanship after you do the washing yourself... How much can you save and equal with the risk you are taking? Anyway if you decide to do so, you can buy chemical wash from any hardware shop....

cheapest way.... wear sandal at home lor... never heard any test report for tiles on the stickiness... different person may have different perception of stickiness... if really so particular on this then no choice have to ask the contractor/ID to drylay the tiles for your wife to test before installation

just curious.... why the chemical washing not included in your reno package? it is a standard practice for contractor to do chemical wash/final cleaning for the tiles they installed before handover to client........

yeahh agree that Supreme did a good job...... I also faced this problem at the corner of my bedroom... Supreme straight away send their worker to rectify the problem without cost

Thks so much... Shld i buy this LG or the ever popular Samsung LCD ? Abt $300 more.. also with HTS... but saleman say the Samsung HTS sucks... ??? sucks when you compare with those high end specs.... it is more than better for free item...... (rather than spend extra cost to buy pioneer )
