erm, jacky...u seem to keep commenting on the differences of 90sqm and 75aqm hor... hdb used blk c maybe because it has both 5 rm and 4 rm and it's the first blk that is ready??? even if they used a real 75sqm unit as a sample unit, i can tell you the application for the balloting exercise will still rise like crazy... btw, if it's a house that cost a bomb, i'm sure people will do their homework...they will know how small a 75sqm is after viewing the 90sqm...i don't think they will forget about that since they will be paying a hefty price... i know yours is a 90sqm unit and congrats to you being able to have your desired unit... please just remember there are people out there who don't have much of a choice... and i'm one of those who rather have a high floor 75sqm rather than a low floor 90sqm......

like that, u better install grilles to make u feel safer... if open 24 hours, confirmed got football lah!! yeah...euro 2008!!

actually, will the sky garden be closed at a certain time in the night or will it be left opened for the whole day??? if it will be closed, who will be closing it??? if it's left opened, it's dangerous also...alot of wanderers will spend the night there and i believe many teenagers will be hanging around there......worried that there will be teenagers making out or smoking......it will surely be disturbing to the people staying slightly higher than the sky garden...

so far, every time i went up to the sky garden, it isn't locked leh...somemore, during the most recent visit, we walked from the blk E sky garden all the way to blk A leh...that was on the 2nd day of cny...haha...we were lucky enough to see the lifts were working and we went up to see our unit's door...see the door already so happy... anyway, tomorrow is vday...happy vday to all~~~

i got a shock too when i check on the latest prices......i called my hubby saying that a 75sqm unit in mid level selling about 300k and we were like wah......i went to dig out the price list and compare......it's really scary lor......prices of the units are about 60k higher......i'm sure hdb is aiming at 'desperate' couples who tried so many times to get a flat that they got no choice but to accept the price hike...... it's really crazy...i thought hdb is suppose to provide affordable housing and they want more people to own a flat of their own??? with such pricing, how can that be possible??? it's not as if all of us got high pay increments and have fat fat bonuses leh......60k i can do my house until like palace and buy all my dream furniture, no need to blink my eyes even...... anyway, we're really appreciating this flat of ours even more now...i told my hubby if we gave up during that time, i'm sure we'll have a difficult time to get a house...... really thank God for everything~~~

whichever block has the best view is very subjective...i feel each block has its pros and cons...for sure there's no such thing as the perfect unit available...if you got the best view, definitely there will be some cons...no point compare so much also...like mentioned earlier, most of us here are very happy to own an unit here, be it high or low floor, good or blocked view...who really will stand at the window everyday and admire the view??? for me and hubby, we love our house as it is...at least block A is nearer to the interchange and mrt......hahaha~~~ anyway, here's wishing everyone a HUAT HUAT rat year ahead!! may good health, happiness, extra $$$ and good food be with us!!!!!!

if haven't collect keys, can go and apply first anot???

the wooden door left unlocked, meaning must close the wooden door anot??? but then, if close, how they can open??? or the wooden door is that kind got the handle one so it can open as long as it's not locked??? if i gave them the key to the lock, after screeding is done, will i have the key back??? bonkitty, can i ask if the reno cost includes overlaying your toilets and/or kitchen???

that's why i think they got different standards...some email, some call, some don't bother...call them never pick up phone, dunno the telephone for what... if i fedup ar, i sure email to the highest authority and complain.... btw, can i double check, upon getting the keys, if wanna apply for cement screeding, i will need to give them a key to the lock rite??? can i ask what about the wooden door key??? don't they need that key to open the door??? or we don't lock the door, only lock the gate with a lock??? i'm still very confused leh...

i dun think will be that late...the person who reply you anyhow say lah... anyway, how come we all email but got different answers ar??? and my customer service officer always call my hubby to answer my email enquiries...like i transparent like that...i suspect she lazy to type a reply email...and she likes my hubby's voice....wahahaha~~~ nevertheless, i believe most of blk A people will get the keys in feb... i will chase them after 3 weeks if there's no noise...

updates from me.... hubby said the hdb customer service officer called him and said our loan application was approved and we will be collecting the long awaited keys in 2-3 weeks time...as of yesterday, she said the contractors had not hand over the keys to them, so once they do so, we will be collecting them... not bad leh...i mean we sent the thing last friday only...chasing really helps...and what i do was email...because i called once and nobody picked up...dunno their phone for what...or perhaps they are visual people, need to read with their eyes???! anyway, once we got the appointment to collect keys, will update again...but i suspect the week after cny will be that day lah...now thinking of wanna have 'lo hei' at the unfurnished unit anot so can huat lor... btw, need some advice.... anybody getting built-in oven or already gotten theirs??? can recommend me some models??? and besides gain city's aircon, where can i get reasonably priced aircon??? my id quoted $1999 for a mit system 3 non-inverter...may be more expensive, but the good thing is he will do all the laising and coordination...but will still look around...the previous posts, i read until blur.... oh yes, can i double check the colour of the floor tiles in both toilets??? think that's all for now...

just normal email to chase them lor...we got our own valid reasons because we must move in by end may due to our customary date... but i think you call them better la...faster...i'm better at emailing than talking...hahaha~~~ !!

dear neighbours, we've chosen summit lah...been to 5 ids and compare around since october 2007...tired already...in the end, we decided to choose summit because somehow like got the click and comfy lor...luckily, got alister's house for us as reference... now, we are very tempted to overlay the toilets...

more and more people moved in...can't wait for my turn.... just confirmed my id and went to select tiles yesterday...so many tiles, see until blur...but all looked the same though...went Indulge to see see look look also... seriously, although we haven't gotten the keys, i realized that sourcing around early really helps alot...can compare pricing and slowly choose...and sometimes, when disagreement happens, we can still take time to discuss and think over slowly...hopefully, the process will be more of enjoyable lah... btw, we've just sent back the loan application...now is the waiting again.... and i saw the coffeeshop below 79E is undergoing reno now...please have football channel...

btw, congee77 is my other half lah...in case you all think i kaypo answer for people.... ya man, that letter came a surprise last evening! we just went to confirm our id and made changes to the previous quote and suddenly, got the letter in the evening....wah, happy lor because we thought won't be so early... i also dunno when we will collect the keys, if CNY we also don't mind because although we can't start the reno, we can still do many things like go look for furniture, electrical stuffs etc... anyway, now we are waiting for id's drawing and will be going to see tiles soon...at least can order the materials in advance also...we just don't wanna waste time doing these after we collect keys because we have to move in by May as we will have our customary by then...just prepare early in case of any delays in reno... we're from blk A...
