as far as i know, the units in blk 79 don't have service balcony... i will be having full height black tinted mirror at my dinning area too...don't remember the quote too...i also ask my id to do a mirror cabinet for my master bedroom toilet...

what i meant is the 75sqm units have their common toilets in the kitchens...the 90sqm 4 room units have their common toilets near the bedroom, at the walkway...this is what i saw from the block floorplan and i went to some of the neighbours' houses too... and of course, there's another toilet in the master room...

i may be wrong...but what i know is only the 75sqm units will have the common toilet in the kitchen...

hey euph0bear, i'm from blk A also...we got similar floorplan... you mentioned you wanna put your dining table in your kitchen, those bar top table.... but that means you are going to eat near the toilet in the kitchen??? i think Ptro's kitchen has no toilet so it's ok... actually, having a bar top and having your meals there, you sure you can sit comfortably anot??? because when i go and eat sushi at those conveyor belt outlets sitting at the bar counter, my posture is very uncomfortable...and what if you got guests??? you can't ask them to stand and eat right??? and you also can't be buying so many bar stools right??? and eventually, the kitchen might be very cramped also... it's better to think twice...try to browse through reno magazines or go see some similar houses for more ideas... my living and dining area also very small but no choice...worse come to worse, i will push the dining table to the wall when there's no guests... my kitchen cabinets, fridge, sink and washer will all be against the wall, making a L-shape...

aiyo...seriously the clothes take 2 days plus to dry??? imagine if we wash bedsheets etc...wah...like that very headache...actually, we don't intend to get dryer leh...scared the electricity usage becomes ultra high, some clothes will 'spoil' faster when using dryer, and also not all kinds of clothes can be dry using a dryer...so we thought just dry indoor lah...worse come to worse, get dryer next time lor... and, for the smoking issue...don't be so negative lah...sometimes, men just need abit of encouragement and support so they will persevere and succeed...but i believe nothing is impossible as long as we are willing to do it... M1 like ok for me leh...so far so good...

hmmm...dun remembered what time leh...keke~~~ i understand the smoking part and i totally agree...it's better to quit smoking and keep clear for a while before having a kid cause the body takes a while to clear the toxins... somemore, i work with children with disabilities and all these whatever toxins etc can cause defects in the chromosomes...and even the slightest change in the genetic matter can cause major issues in the baby... sometimes, i'm also scared to have a kid...

i'm not an expert in this area but what i know is sony is using samsung panel but sony's selling point is its bravia engine...for sony, you pay for the brand...but i must say the bravia engine is solid lah... for samsung, they do alot of marketing...what i heard from my friends is that samsung's prices are usually marked up quite high perhaps due to the high marketing and lots of free gifts etc... i guess if you got the $$$ to buy a sony, you might as well buy a samsung since they using same panel and it's cheaper for a model with similar specs... but for the idTV, it's the one with built-in HD box rite??? what if the HD box spoil??? and actually, do you need a HD box??? if you subscribe cable tv or mio tv, they also have HD box...but if you wanna watch free to air channels, you don't have a lot of choices too... i also having headache of which tv to buy....

you can negotiate the payment style... i told my id i wanna split the payments...so it's 10% deposit upon signing, 20% upon ordering and delivery of tiles, 20% upon completion of floor, 25% when doing measurement for carpentry and ordering materials, 20% upon completion of carpentry and last 5% upon rectifying of everything and after 2 weeks we've moved in... we are the customers so no matter what, we must be comfortable of the payment amount and percentage... at least i think with this, my id won't mess around lah....

i think i know why all the bills are so high...i was tidying my documents and realized that we need to put a $100/$150 deposit for SP services... so maybe this deposit is included in all the recent bills??? meaning your actual bill is the amount after deducting this deposit... i may be wrong lah...

I wanted to use induction initially but thinking i can only use special pots and pans puts me off...and also, the cost of the hob and usually they need more power supply if you wanna use all the hobs at a time...i think and think, gas hob is more practical in the end... btw, alister...can i know how much you paid for your granite top??? i'm tempted to go for it...

went to select tiles for the 2 toilets last night...will be starting reno works later this week if everything falls in place... so far, the only defect is the bedroom 3 door cannot close properly, needs great effort...but i ask my id to rectify for me so i no need to wait so long for hdb to do... been going to see electrical stuffs and furniture...more or less confirm what to buy already...hopefully pocket won't burst...

so for instant heater, i need to have 1 set per toilet right??? i'm using instant heater for now so never know of the cons of storage heater...if based on the above feedback, i think i will go for instant heater already...

wah, the more i read, the more blur i become... for the water, hubby and i figure it ourselves and turn it on leh...nobody said anything of sending people over to turn on anything leh... i think it's better to take note of your water meter reading so in case of any misuse, we can know too...

it's so weird having to pay such fees...as if we can choose how many toilet bowls we want...like that, sounds like i got to pay to go to my own toilets...hahaha...or maybe i should charge all my guests next time... funny...when we go SP services yesterday, they told us it's immediate activation leh...

after taking your keys, just proceed to the SP services at level 2 and activate the water and electricity...for gas, you just need to call a number which they will give to you... then, go and open your letter box...you will find some gadget thingy...go to your house, open the gas and water door, somewhere near the lower middle, you will find something which can fit the gadget...remove a screw and fit the gadget in and turn anti-clockwise... anyway, i asked them if i never use any water or electricity, will there be any charges...they say there will be no charges but there's this 'toilet charges' which is compulsory...it's $3 for 1 toilet, so $6 for 2 toilets...is anybody aware of this???

same...no more high floor 90sqm when it's our turn...and i didn't wanna gave up after we got a **** out from hdb...apply first time successful but project kena cancelled, apply punggol no queue num...apply tpy, queue number very big...hubby didn't want low floors because he's staying low enough currently...and given that fact that we didn't wanna burst our pockets, we chose a 75sqm...now, to compensate for the size, reno nicer lor...hahaha... i also saw some units that i shortlisted but was selected when it's my turn...so fed up leh...everyday i got so upset canceling my shortlisted units and now it's available with a massive increase in price... hubby said it's fate lah......
