  1. Morning Everyone, I heard that expo IDs do charge higher than normal IDs and i do not like the agressive selling.
  2. true to what edenstrauss said. It all depends on your communication with ur ids.
  3. Not sure also. Seem like a knowledgeable and friendly guy. Was told that he had 4 years of exp in this line, didnt look doubtful to me. Quote was okie(reasonable), his design and able to advise on some issues on the spot was helpful to me.
  4. YES of course you can. Manage your budget wisely ^^, renovation can a fun process if everything goes right
  5. After reading the forum for a few days. I realise something abt IDs and Contractor. Pros and Cons of IDs Pros: Supposedly minimise mistakes and overseeing whole reno process. Advise owner on designs and accessories. A advisor who also bao-ga-liao everything including liasing with city gas and solving problems when owners are busy working. Cons: Higher-price? If id dont liase for you, you are your OWN supervisor. Have to click with you, if not weeks of troubles when renovation start. Moral of the story: Engage IDs for lesser problems(hope so) but mostly i heard are better than contractors. If you are totally clueless than what colour combination and layout and design you want for your house. Thanks. Just my 2 cents.
  6. Hello peeps, I only have 2 or 3 ids that get back to me from renotalk, other seem not interested. How many have get back to you all?
  7. Hmm. no L-box or cove light? Only false ceiling?
  8. True to what subaru said. Licensed i heard can be bought so not 100% also la. But those new firms less than 1 year i wont considered also. Who knows if they close down and run with the money.
  9. Hi Everyone, Went to Lavender last sat to meet up wth ron. Have a 2 hrs discussion with him. Carefully discussing our problems and show us around the showroom. Will shortlist him as our potential decoractor.
