  5. well a busy night !!! went to collect to the catalogues for my selection of woodgrains and yay Lamchuam and Lamitak indeed have much more nicer woodgrains ! All thanks to Jaskel! my id was kind enough to give me a range of all other catalogues to choose from..total of 5 booklets!!! Also have added the change that i require for my MBR toilet going to hack away the tub!only prob is need to find back the old tile..which i duno is homo tile or marble tile.... can any gurus out there recognise this thingy on my floor? but there's one thing that dampens my mood is the flushmount sink which my ID advised me against it.... to think i tot i found a kill 2 birds with 1 stone method:bangwall: hais...solve 1 prob...here comes another...well well let me show you what i bought today! my wall clock! hee
  6. hahaha okie lah so far i wont say complain too much yet as i'm more result oriented..so i'll see...hehehe by the way can i ask u a quick question. Flush mount sink seems to be a 2 birds 1 stone concept but its not popular as i tried to google info for it ..why is that so? I tried talkin to my ID he seems abit reluctant about it as the last time he did it he say its hard to make the sides stick unless the sink is very well moulded. Its like after sticking and putting heavy materials for 1 day or so..shortly after the sides then to level up making the entire surfance unlevelled..did you experience the same? i was a bit dampen when i tot i found the best solution for beauty of undermount and convenient of top mount.......
  7. yay!! thanks! ! ! ! i needed this kinda assurance and confirmation from someone i can trust and yes you've made my day to CHIONG my endless list of to do stuffs tml !! duno why sub-consciously..i was like hahaha my next house i wont have to do all these..jaskel will settle for me....... hahahah....*also at the same time trying very hard nt to dui dui my chest why never let u do this time*.....i even saw the HIS AND HERS keyholder you give titanax!!! hahaha I LOVE THAT TO BITS and i was searching high and low for it...previously when i saw it from one of the online shop (but sold out status) This is the first item i bought for my house 5 months ago!..only proves to show you definitely will know what i want! YOU'RE THE MAN JAS!!!
  8. hihi jaskel well understood hehehe usually its just black and 1 type of woodgrain for each pc of furniture..just that the black may be glossy or lined black and the woodgrain i use across varieties from with 1 catalogue..but now you got me thinking abt the woodgrains..should i stick with 1 series of woodgrains but diff tones to get a more uniform look (in terms of the lines/grains outcome) or will that just make it look too boring.... from what i see you've done a mix and match and da*n..its well done!! the overall effect is
  9. hahaha its okie emobebe thanks for clarifying too!
  10. I was told by one of the shops that Samsung WD8804 washer and dryer no good..as customers complain that clothes not dry enough…so she recommended me a Thomson dryer washer..but hahah I google and cant seem to find anything ..not even model number….can the kind souls here advice me so that I can get some details or feedback on it? oh yeah she did quote me for $1430....told me its 8kg wsh/5kg dryer...coz i was looking for 8kg..type
  11. wat happened to the model number bro?
  12. hihih hafiizh thanks for the thoughtfulness!! I'm in such a mess i'm goggling and posting my queries everywhere which is 'kinda' related ahahhaha =x apologies! desperate measures
  13. hihi jaskel sorry for hijacking other ppl's blog paiseh paiseh..thks for enlightening me ! so sorry that i need to tap on your professional advice here..dont. me k...paiseh paiseh cause after so many months i know you are even before i know you are in this line too =X Try to use the "same family" series of the wood laminate if u intent to use 2 laminates for both as both of the woodgrain are the same so its more smoothing to look at rather than become complicated and confusing. you were saying 'same family' as in all from Lamchua or all from EDL ? Or you were referring to all from the same page within 1 vendor ..coz i realised in the catalogue they have different categorisation like 'dark naturals' ...'light naturals' something like that or "reflective gloss"
  14. omg you are so kind jaskel! erms theme..i duno wat theme leh..you are gng to slap me but i'm in love with things like these....its like warm yet modern..that what i feel when i see wood(warm) and glossy black(modern )
  15. hehehe honestly..im doing more of the work myself..its either i'm too particular or..hmm i duno..hehehehe :sport-smiley-018: but i must say you've been a fine bro..**** knowledgable and helpful heheh i shld be more tactful hehehehe :good: oh btw i was surfing for flushed-mount kitchen and i chanced upon this nick titan ahhah and i realised you did his house! nice job man!!!!!! I'll definitely give you a try if I'm buying the house for the right reason next time round :yamseng:
  16. Dear bros and sis, anyone of you familiar with flush mount sink? Apparently this answers the question i all along have in my heart (within these few mths) as i keep reading the pros and con's of top mount or under mount for kitchen sink! Seems like this is a kill 2 birds with 1 stone method...looks nice and dun have to worry about the need of replacing the sink in future as it sits on like a top mount if i'm not wrong.... Anyone has installed such before? Doesnt seem popular despite my belief its a great idea..(hahah only shows how anal i am :sport-smiley-004: )

    Vanity

I'm going to ask a stupid question..why not marble top in kitchen ? I'm actually deciding what top to put for my vanity and as my wall tiles are marble..its only natural to have it back in marble but this is what is left by previous owner..its either OMG :o SQ crew are only good on the outside..she's such a mess at home ! =x or the quality of the marble top sucks........so i'm like deciding to put granite top....though the colour doesnt match.. :dunno: so out of the norm a sudden tot... which came to my query..since marble and granite can be replaced interchangably in a way.. as they are close in terms of looks and properties..not sure why no one use marble for kitchen top..unless the pricing differs..from what i know i tot its almost similar in terms of pricing ....
  19. Hihi bros and sisters..was wondering if anyone out there are into the same kinda 'theme' as me....i'm having difficulty trying to allocation the combis to diff parts of my furniture...so thought that i may steal some feedback from you guys :sport-smiley-004: feel free to comment!! :dancingqueen: Items that i'm looking at : Full height shoe cabinet, 3 tinted glass door suspended console, kitchen cabinet with imperial black granite top, king size bedframe with side suspended cupboard (table without drawers concept) and lastly dressing table with full height WIW closet withoutdoors. 1) 2) 3) 4) 5)
  20. wat you are **** gd! as usual :thumbs up: i tot of using the matt surface for the woodgrain against glossy black so that there's a contracts...interesting to find that you will recommend the glossy woodgrain and glossy black.. you've some great outputs from such combis? :yamseng:
  21. hey hey hafiizh! i decided not to go along with the extension of vanity top..contractor says cannot......cfm wall tiles affected even though i suggest doing cabinets to cover up...now come to think of it..why cannot hor...i go ask him again tml hiaks hiakk hiaks
  22. hihi jaskel, based on your experience which has the most woodgrain laminates to offer? Mine given me Jennings..the medium brown woodgrain colours not alot and a few i like all are have their model nos pasted over.. i think its no longer in stock..and its 2010 copy...is there also a 2011 copy that is available? I'm into matching woodgrains with glossy black concept...lol so woodgrain very impt component to me
  23. Here are the laminates for my living room (shoe cabinet and console ) any feedback are definitely welcomed and appreciated! perhaps pre-warninig or advice from guru bros and sis Pardon my horrible drawing..but i think picture tells a thousand words..i'm trying to avoid error in terms of laminates used..and honestly...the 3-D drawing concepts...aint to my liking
