Will i get surchage for that or what are the norms? Will this solve the ugly 'workmanship' issue of seeing the bare wood at the joint angles? I'm looking at these items for carpentry: Kitchen Cabinet (Top and Bottom) TV console Suspended type Open concept (no doors) wardrobe Suspended dressing table Storage drawers (probably 3-4 drawers height) to be links with dressing table Study table link with bedside table & king size bed frame Vanity Cabinet in MBR toilet

hmm seriously speaking..how would we know if my kitchen is really 30ft? mine is L shape top and bottom cabinet and its like tiny ......coz its condo 2+1......i'm so curious like how they quote for full ht wardrobe and non full ht ...for eg. i have this quote full ht build in wardrobe in laminate finish c/w sliding door and drawer with locker $320 unit price 2.5 ftr = $800.00 full ht walk in wardrobe in laminate finish c/w colour pvc interior $165 unit price 15ftr = $2475 (my room is only 9ftr length so end up he was like oh ookie then i count 9 ftr price) can someone advise me how nt to get chopped for such carpentry works.......sigh

Hi, I've received quotation from my ID without doing actual measurements even though he was on site. How accurate will that be? Just a curious note as the floor plan which i've provided only shows the horizontal measurements on the floorplan and not the vertical ones. Shld i still keep him as an option or should i just move on to the next best candidate?

Not sure if what you intend to do is cost effective but you can try Steven HP:96323281. He is one of the only ones among my contractors...who is more experienced with carpentry...so he is able to provide modification idea for my existing wardrobe to a wardrobe with hidden TV closet...

hihi i think you can try Kang Sheng Renovation Contractor its at yishun st 81 i think. Try look for arthur if you prefer english speaking 91894753 (he is the one providing the quotation and liasing the email communications ) . I met with Mr Foo (90288606) initially as he is the actual guy doing the job but he speaks mandarin only. I've yet to try his work cause i've no time to start my reno and i'm still deciding on my 'design and concept' before asking him to come down again for another round of quotation..=XX But he is recommended by my colleague who had just completed her house and mum's office and so far his quote is one of the most reasonable one to me. Not super cheap but i dun feel parang at least ahahha =X Good luck!

its because of the schools nearby...the intl college at tampines...the uni at changi biz park.. thats y yeah the new condo The Gale is going like high 800+psf right up to 900psf..so thats a no no for me....after The Gale ...there are also other condo's coming up...but they are going to be 99 years leasehold.

actually not within my comfort zone...even though discount he is willing to give is 5% coz the general works are erms....i feel chopped! =x but i just hope its not me bringing my HDB mentality and looking at a price tag for a condo reno...sigh............
