  1. okok... heng, PC wake up liao... ; p Here's photo for day 30 Kitchen false ceiling.
  2. Its not about tripping the circuit, but more on power surge. The difference might be minimal but I would prefer to have it since in future, I will consider upgrading my Audio equipment. Reason being when you share multiple point under each ELCB, each time you switch on light/electrical appliance, it will cause a surge within the same ELCB. I believe it will affect the other ELCB since its from the same DB, but it is minimal comparing to the supplies withing the same ELCB. Another way is to purchase a Powersupply filter to do the job. But now I only entry level, cannot afford to go there yet. So the easiest way is to split the power supply to minimize lor. Also the Powersupply filter really really very expensive... Its just like we all know insurance is important to cover us in case of ...... but spending the $$$ is just a little pain as we can't see the return until we use it (but again we pray hard we never have to use it ; p )... So contradicting right ; p
  3. DAY 31, 20th Jun, Wed Electrical wiring all done, now pending them to install the physical switches & power sockets etc. Some remedy required for Common bathroom. Shift the sink about 30cm to the left. ; ) That's should be all needed. Wife found that she really don't like the wiring running under window at the study area, so bo bian, she visited the site when the electrician was around to re-locate the trunking. Check & done. Let me try to see if I can get my PC working and post some pix. ; )
  4. My PC fall sick again Zzzzzz... can't process the pix to share. :bangwall:
  5. This model ? My mum's place also using this brand instant heater. Simple and heat up pretty fast. (maybe because my mum's piping wasn't done properly. Last time don't know, what ever can go wrong actually go wrong, so lots of learning experience from her reno)
  6. Oh, I'm actually also worrying about carpentry as well. Cause if anything salar, siao, delay again, I head big big. :jawdrop: Ya, so far the workers all pretty nice to talk, my tiler pretty chatty as well ; ) Only person that doesn't give me a good impression is the electrician. I request to split the power source, and he comment : Why ? Got different meh !? :bangwall: No different why do I make the request !? *faint*...
  7. I'm using Alpha Smart 18 instant heater http://www.alpha-electric.com/ They have a latest model (approved type), comes with build in pump, good for low water pressure area. BUT $XXX. List price $5xx. *faint*
  8. Oh !! U have sooooooo many cabinets + WIW only 2-3 days complete liao !! Like that mine scarli 1 day complete liao ; p Cause mine very straight forward, 1 X top, 2 X full height, rest all base 1 layer only. Easy easy ; p Yaya..... tiling dam scary, really take very long to do. Think different carpenter ba. I also can't really remember who will be doing mine but only know should be the same group that does May's cabinet. So if those guys no run hand, should have at least May's cabinet standard :sport-smiley-004:
  9. Yup, measurement done. But as the guys are busy with lots of work, they can only start installation on the 25th June, and according to Andrew, they need 2-3 days to complete cabinets. So pray hard lor. Cause 25th my bed will be delivered, I'm planning all my other delivery on the 25th so that I can start putting things up. (especially all my Ikea wardrobes)
  10. Oh... I use Zenta lor. Just to make things easier for Andrew lar.
  11. DAY 30, 19th Jun, Tue Paisay, photo tonight than process ; p Okie. Finally getting to see more (getting more excited). False ceiling/cove all done. Plumbing work done. Toilet, WC, sink, taps, instant shower installed. But the instant shower doesn't behave well, seems like the switching have some problem. Rain shower water flow is good, but hand shower flow super low, when both rain shower + hand shower on, flow good for both !?!?!? :jawdrop: FUNNY right !? Have spoken to Andrew, he will check and if think is the problem from equipment, will ask the supplier to come check. Electrical work almost 50% done as well. ; )
  12. What's Andrew's view of the tiling work ? Ay, for the tiling, will only be able to view it after they remove the protective paper. I only have 1 opportunity to view it under low light condition at night, even Andrew have not have the chance to inspect it before the covered all up with protective layer. So both Andrew and myself are just praying hard that after they remove the paper (think either this Friday or Saturday), we hope to see sui sui tiles. If uneven or got problem, both Andrew and myself will have big headache. My MIL place will start HDB toilet upgrading on the 3rd July (so if I can't move in by then, will have to experience extreme inconvenience).
  13. So funny.... My wife what'sapp me, Andrew called me... saying that we have miss out the wall painting color for my MIL room !?!?!?!? :bangwall: :jawdrop: How can that happen !? :bangwall: Anyway, tonight gonna check again to make sure we got it and send to Andrew. According to schedule, Thursday Painting, Friday starts putting Vinyl.
  14. LOL... Actually the delay is caused by the unexpected floor popping. After that saga, things are moving pretty well. Hopefully by end of next week, I can start moving into the house. Now Andrew is speeding up every other area (thanks that he manage to get all his contractor to help him, else really siong). For my 5 zone Queen (I don't have the model number with me, but will try to remember to send you the info late tonight). Mattress + Storage bed frame approx $2K. (expo promo, don't really know if consider good buy but since already bought, bo chap liao) ; p
  15. Wah envy envy... Think u'rs r just above mine. Nice.. your other view should be able to view the SEA right :thumbs up:
  16. Wah !!!.. even toiler wall tiles SAME !!! Either they all same era or these are original HDB tiles !?!?!? ; p
  17. When I saw this pix i was like..... mmmm How come the living floor tiles & kitchen floor tiles Same as my seller !!!
  18. DAY 29, 18th Jun, Mon Nice. Living Room Cove Light done. Kitchen island, 1/2 done. ; ) Living room (along Balcony) Living Room Along walkway Above island
  19. Sunday, went my wife's relative's light shop to view. (My FIL ask us to pay them a visit, afraid that we kanna kotok 'aka' "Carrot"). So we did. Shop at beauty world center. Really glad we did pay them a visit. (my original mindset was !!!. Shop at that kind of area, surrounded by Landed, $X,XXX,XXX condos, things must be priced at they type of standard)..... oh boy I'm so wrong. Their display price tag was cheaper than those I saw from Gaylang & Balestier :jawdrop: Chosen most of the lights we need, 13 x 4" T5, 3 x 2" T5.. (think I mis-count), might need more !!!.. nevermind have yet to get my downlight, will drop by again to buy them ; )
  20. DAY 28, 16th Jun, Sat Busy Busy day. Electrical work actually starts today. Was there after my breakie with wifey. Did a final walk through to make sure we have all positioning re-cap. (especially once you lost some wall, switch tends to switch places as well) :sport-smiley-004: Had lunch. Think we miss out something, went up and talk again. Went downstairs, talk about paint color. Discuss and some changes were made from our original plans. Bi-fold door color also finalize. But when wife know that the grill that we are replacing in the kitchen is different from our existing set (they nolonger have the old design) :furious: :furious: Wifey can't accept it. Andrew saw that, we kind of talk, discuss, ID did a quick quick calculation, tell us the COST... my wife decided, OK. GO AHEAD :jawdrop: So another $1,400 UP ... .. . Zzzzzzzzzz (bo bian). By late afternoon, False ceiling guys started their delivery of the materials required. Great. Seeing more things up. starting to FEEL the real thing ; )
  21. But for wood grain, sometimes A4 size is good, but bigger better :dribble: Ai ya, he drive mar, so we all ok. We chat along the ride, my wife Zzzzzzzzzz. Andrew actually relax & careful driver in SG. So very comfortable taking his car ride :sport-smiley-004:
  22. DAY 27, 15th Jun, Fri Great day. Went down, meet the A/C guy, walk through where I want the A/C unit to be, he did all the re-trunking work. Nice. MBR Bedroom 1 Bedroom 2
  23. That day happen that I'm available, so we went down with ID to the place. Reason being he also can't be sure if the sample can really represent what we want. So his suggest is if we can make it, go view the actual thing. And I'm glad we did it. My wife and I, with ID, we visited 2 Laminates supplier, visited the Cabinet factory ; p Learn a lot of things.. ; )
  24. DAY 24 - 26, 12th - 14th Jun, Tue - Thur Nothing much was done these period. So nothing to update ; p
  25. Not to worry. If you have chosen your floor tiles, just bring it along to choose the laminate. At the Laminate supplier, most of the sample they will have A5 size, some A4 size, make use of the A4 size to mix and match, place around the table they have in the show room to test, walk around to make use of the different lighting to compare. That's what we do at the Laminate supplier shop ; p After which we shortlist the final 2, we walk out to the store, they help to pull out 2 of them, show us using both man made light + nature light (about 12pm). The staff actually advice us to view under shade & expose to sunlight from the side, as it will reflect different tone. So we did that and it is very fruitful, we got what we need.
