talk to a friend that work at plaza sing near that shop he told me that , that guy sometime when he is alone in the showroom he can chain up the entrance and go MIA for 2 to 3 hour and everyday close up early , so may be he is not a sale personnel but the boss or the boss son lor if so maybe should just stay home and shake leg rather than be there and drive potential customers away

i think you must either ask the contractor or hdb officer for the answer cuz of course is possible to do what ever u want to your place but is it allow or not by hdb standard , m interested to know why u need to raise the floor of the bathroom for 16inch ?

actually i dont have any particular shop to recommend , but just try to avoid those shop that get a bad review in renotalk , apart from the imm , furniture mall , and those furniture store at sungei kadut and at dempsey hill , u can look at the expatliving free online magazine and they hv some interesting furniture shop feature inside . try to let the renovation to go with your furnishing instead of the other way round , so u can show the id or contractor the furniture u will be getting and they will work the design around it

oh went to the fair this afternoon i thought i was in a lady club, i think i m the only guy there beside the male vendor there ,the vendor is mostly ang moh and indian vendor and the customer mostly are the expat wives and the stuff they sell is stuff that the expat tai tai will buy for their home and stuff they will wear , no modern stuff , mostly home decor that u might see in expat living magazine, did saw malaccawork and they do hv nice workmanship for their item and they are friendly and nice too so do visit them

i think the problem with buying from taobao is that if the light is crack , scratch or broken or default there is nothing much u can do about it cuz all these is fragile item so there a risk involve , but if it item that is made of metal or fabric or not so fragile item then it worth buying from taobao
