Hi, I’m renovating a resale HDB and met a few issues. Would like to check if I can seek some advice or solutions here. 1. The ex owner had the aircon water pipe pass through the corner of the frame of the sewage box up in the toilet. As I will install new aircon, the old pipe was removed and now there is a hole in the frame. My aircon vendor will run the pipe in a different route so the hole will be there. My ID said it was cut by previous aircon ppl and he is not replacing. Wonder if anyone has encountered this. How did you patch up the hole? 2. My ID proposed to lay new concealed copper water pipes. However, on the day of installation after they dismantled the old pipes, they informed me that there is not enough space or "手路“ for the part in the yard and it has to be exposed. As there is no other option, i accepted. However, the result seems quite ugly. I wonder if it can be routed as illustrated in red. Any advice is most welcome and appreciated! Thanks!

Last night I heard a crash from the kitchen when I was already in bed. I went to the kitchen and was astonished to find the glass panel of one of the ceiling lights in the kitchen dropped and the floor was scattered with glass pieces.Luckily no one was in the kitchen then. I cannot imagine what would have happened if someone happened to be there. The light was installed around 2 years ago by the contractor. I haven't touched it since then. I'm not sure what caused the glass to drop and worried about the other light of the same model. I sent message to the contractor but haven't got any reply yet. The other light of the same model. Don't know when it will suddenly drop as well... Does anyone have any suggestion as to who I shall seek help from and who is responsible for this? Or there is nothing I can do but pray it won't happen again? Thanks for any advice.
