Extream Condensation In Hitachi Fridge
treeOfLife replied to treeOfLife's topic in Electronics & Electricals
Thank you! -
I bought a Hitachi fridge R-Z582EMX two days ago. It generates condensation that makes inside very wet. I adjust the humidity to very dry and it doesn't help. It is just like what happen to my previous fridge when I didn't close the door tightly for a very long time. The item surfaces have big water droplets. The technician came down and open and close the fridge for a while and claims that it is within normal range and due to humid weather, etc. He adjusted the front door and told me to monitor it for a few days. I monitored for two days and it is still the same. Does anyone have problem with hitachi fridge before and how it can be solved?

Hitachi Fridge Or Mitsubishi To Buy?
treeOfLife replied to vodkazhong's topic in Electronics & Electricals
The technician came down and did a lot of fixing of the door and the noise. But he claims that the dew wet inside the fridge is normal. The inside of the fridge is like my last fridge when the door was forgotten to close tight for a long time. But the technician gave me a lot of excuse and said it may take 48 hours to cool down the fridge, etc. Very frustrating! -
Hitachi Fridge Or Mitsubishi To Buy?
treeOfLife replied to vodkazhong's topic in Electronics & Electricals
I just bought R-Z582EMSX yesterday. It is a bit noisy and I found today that the inside is full of dew. When I use my hand to touch the shelf, my hand is totally wet. I called service and the technician is coming down to check tomorrow. We have used many fridges, this is the most expensive fridge we have ever bought and first time we bought Hitachi and first time we had this kind problem with a new fridge. -

I guess the guy is in the similar situation. That's why I am wondering what can I do to minimize the damage in the case I have to evict them through court. I hope in Singapore there is a quick and easy way to evict non payment tenants. -

Why you cannot recover your legal fee from them? Did the court ask them to pay you the legal fee in the first place? -

It is not possible to use force by yourself unless you have a gang with you and you are not afraid of the law. -

I think this is not really something viable because they can always ask locksmith to unlock lock. I try to get court order to evict them with help of court sheriff or police if they refuse to leave in the worst case. There is no problem to do that. The only problem is the process is long. And even court ruled that they must pay the rent and legal cost, if they refuse, how can I cover my cost after evicting them? -
I am starting a legal battle to try to evict my tenants. Any of you who have experiences or knowledge please come to help to win the battle! I have a family of tenants of three who are local. They either late or pay partial payment for recent 4 months. They have rented my house for only 6 months. They ask me to give them 6 month partial payment of 40% of the rental till their business getting better. I agreed to give only 3 months. When I try to cash out this month partial payment. The check is bounced. I am very angry because after I agree to help, they did this to me. I sms them and got no reply. It looks like they are determine to make no payment. The only way I can do is to evict them. I already send a demand letter to them stating what happened and what are the possible legal actions I will take including forfeiture of tenancy. My TA stated that after 7 days of no payment, I have right to re-entry of premises and terminate the TA. My main concern is that the eviction process is long and even if I end up evict them, what will I get at the end? I have two months deposit. But this may not cover up possible damage caused such as legal fee. What can I do to minimize the possible damage?

Another update. For the partial payment, I finally got the full payment near the end of the month. But for this month payment, the check is bounced. What kind of people will try to live in ones place and try not to pay!!! They just came to talk to me to make partial payment for 3 month over the holiday period. I agreed. But even the partial payment check is bounced. I sms them and didn't hear from them. -
I need to find a plumber to do some piping and water leakage repair work. It may need hacking on wall or floor. I am looking into the PUB licensed plumbers here: http://www.pub.gov.sg/general/Pages/Licens...mberSearch.aspx How do you feel about the plumbers in the list. Are they reliable than others on the street?

I bought a 35L water heater from Poh Joo. The girl quoted me $255 + $130, if there is cutting on the ceiling, I need to pay $70 more. But when the plumber came to my house and he demand $250 for installation even without the need to cut the ceiling. I agreed. After he finished his job and I need to have a invoice with his company name on it and he says he didn't prepare for it. He didn't want to give me his real name because he wanted me to pay in cash.

Things supposed should work this way like what you did. I don't think I'll chase them for payment. It should be the other way around. They should make sure that they need to pay on time or loosing their home. Singapore has law, isn't it? -

Thanks for your information! How much to engage a lawyer to write a notice of eviction? I feel that the letter is pretty easy to write, do we have to engage a lawyer here for writing the letter? I guess we need to have a lawyer to do a credit search. Do I have to have a lawyer to write eviction letter, apply for court order for real eviction. I don't think I'll get some rusty faced people to go there physically by myself. I believe court can help landlord to get police and sheriff to do the work. The whole process needs to start with civil law suit. -

Hi there, Mine is also malay/indian mixed family. What a coincidence! I think I made mistake that I wanted to rent my house too eagerly. I did notice something was not right at the beginning. When I asked their agent why they wanted to move out of their current home, he said that the landlord wanted to increase the rental to ridiculous high. I didn't think hard on this. Now it is very obvious to me why the landlord wanted to do it. Mine is only in the 5th month. But before that, every month, we had to chase for the payment with lots of SMS exchanges between me, agent and him. It is really quite ridiculous. I guess, I have to do the same thing with what you did, serving termination notice in some point of time if nothing improving. Thanks. -
