My previous owner had the spare key as well since the sales completion in Nov. Coz they were buying a new flat which wasn't ready yet. So far so good and they returned the key 1 April. I guess depends on how trustworthy you find them.
  3. Suggest you check the manual, don't use the wrong utensils else you may damage the microwave oven.
  4. Haha, that's true, I do appreciate my parents more now that I have to take care of my own house. Imagine my mum cooks every day even when she's working... all the rushing home to cook a decent meal.. feel bad now that I complain this not nice, that not good... I told my MIL the frequent washing is due to her son keep throwing clothes into the basket every time he changed into something, eg. change into house clothes after work, then change into outside clothes to go dinner, then changing back into house clothes again.... she laughed and told me to leave the washing to hubby, then he'll know not to do it so often Careful moderator, there may be underaged surfers in here
  5. Uh-huh... if not for the fact that my oppt neighbours will probably find it TOO distracting....

  7. But sometimes tough coz each of us may be busy with many things. Like me, although I'm not sianz of marriage life yet, but everyday got housework, shopping for more furniture, organising wedding/ honeymoon photos etc... i mean, not that it's not fun doing such things but feel like end up not really communicating, you know... no time to pak toh...
  8. Just been married for 3 months and I find we're forever doing laundry... does anyone feel the same?
  9. Hmm... dun put too heavy? I don't think it'll actually tear unless you squeeze it to the brim and try to lift it up. Or don't hang, line your bins, then carry whole bin out, then throwing it away.
  10. !! Actually can buy very cheap plastic bags, like those 100 pcs for a few dollars.
  11. Haha, they always like that one. Last time I went to buy wedding band, they so helpful want to polish my proposal ring, although not bought from them. But I think diamond ring can always go back to the shop and they'll clean for you FOC.
  12. Why don't you use credit cards? Can collect points you know. Esp the way you shop, lagi clock pts faster than me traveling.
  13. That time when my bros bought it, was ard 200... now I not so sure.
  14. Good quality ones will keep their "foaminess" even after extensive use. The AIR bean bag I got is still as red and comfortable after 3 yrs of use, I think, can't exactly remember, may be even older. Lousy ones will flatten within a few months and stink from perspiration etc.
  15. Yup I agree with White_affair, I'm impressed that they actually am willing to pay for the plastic bags, then give the proceeds back to society. Although the cost of the bags is eventually calculated back into the cost of the products. But we can all help to make the world a greener place.
  16. Agreed, I went in once and said quite bluntly I have $100 voucher and just want to make use of it, buy the cheapest possible whatever it is, the sales lady was very patient and recommend a very nice pendant. Then in another HDB branch, I wanted to see another pendant which wasn't available in their branch and they took the trouble to get it from another branch and called me up to view it as soon as it arrived. I didn't buy it in the end but there was no complaints whatsoever.
  17. Depends on who it is ba... my MIL bought my downry there, she no complaints at all.
  18. Yup can slide sideways only. Then you can choose to cover fully or not.
  19. Thanks! It's Ikea alright, one thing though is it can't be rolled up. Sorry, not in town now, cannot take close up pic...
  20. Mine is NN-C784MFYPQ, able to grill and bake plus microwave functions. Got it for $360.
  21. oh.. mine not so complicated, just press button. But I have to put a drip pan underneath the oven rack to collect the oil that drips down from the food. If yours also need that, then cannot turn on bottom heating coil? But I'm just guessing, best is read the manual, it shld offer some tips.
  22. You can google for any recipes you want, dun have to be specific to your oven, basically just set the temperature correct. I'm also trying out my new oven Only did grilling, which is very easy. Marinate the meat overnight, throw into oven, flip once so both side can brown nicely. As for cook how long, depends on portion/ type of meat.
  23. Just tried out my new microwave convection oven from Panasonic, grilled pork chops with its inbuilt program... YUMMY
