Actually that was my initial plan... except for doing up the 2x2 ft low wall... Den I realized it will be too narrow if I keep the basin lor.... cos you have moved it into the bathroom rt... Think I have to keep the "I"-shaped kitchen layout.... cos not going to re-tile to save cost... ha ha ha... But really like the reno of your new old flat.. looks so spacious and clean.... the kitchen wall tiles are very pretty lor... ha ha... now I am waiting to see the wall colours of the bedrooms....

I am very impress by your knowledge on those electric stuff.. pipes.. blah blah.... mine is also an 30-yr-old 3I... so the layout is similar to yours.... really a bold move to have a smaller kitchen done... so my understanding is your sink and wm is side-by-side? still can use the rubbish chute? where will be the water outlet for the wm then? a new wm brand - Candy is brought in by Courts, supposed to be only 40mm in depth.. will be good to tuck into that area...

Yeah! Agree! I'm going to paint first for now.... my good adviser told me could consider using laminate instead of wallpaper for part of the walls also.. Really look nice~ That will come later...

Today, months after placing my order with Neon, someone finally called me! Maybe someone from their company is reading this forum. That's why. 3/4 months ago I emailed to the staff - Sophie who took my order during the home fair at expo. checking about the 2 free 3D design they promised. But no reply from her since June 2010. I actually wanted to cancel and take back my $300 deposit because am starting to question their reputation and customer service, but that today this Kelvin said he WILL NOT REFUND my deposit. He quoted the "dates" his staff had called me but I have never spoken to any of them. So, meaning they called, regardlessly whether they managed to speak to their customers. And they only call once a month! Kelvin promised to deliver the 3D design by Monday. Shall see if this will be fulfilled. However, looks like I am stuck with the deposit. Not sure if I should forfeit the $300? Any sound advice? Should I forfeit or throw more $$$ to them? I cannot think now
