  1. Hi guys, any part time cleaners to recommend? I am moving into my new place and need pre-move in cleaning and also a regular part timer to come once weekly. Preferably on weekdays when all of us are out to work. I'm staying in Pasir Ris.

  4. Hi Jerome, Do you sell LG laundry pedestal for LD Washer-Dryer model: LG WD-1279RDS7? If yes can PM me the quote please.
  5. I bought LG WD-1279RDS7 and looking for a pedestal so that won't have to bend down so much to take out your laundry. I can't seem to find one in singapore. As my parents back are not good, it's difficult for them to bend down and i still prefer front load washing machine instead of top loading. Anyone knows where to get laundry pedestals for front load washers/dryers?
  6. Hi Silhouette and Surechatz, Do you still have the contact details of the your glass contractors? My walk-in wardrobe tempered glass door shattered. I need to get it replaced....Will be a great help if you could share it with me.
  7. Hi My WIW tempered glass door shattered due to an accident and need to get it replaced. Anyone has any recommendations for any glass contractors? Also what other alternatives to conceal the WIW other than tempered glass door? Welcome all your suggestions and ideas.
  8. My walk-in wardrobe door also shattered like Green Giraffe's. Now I have no idea how to get a replacement. It's been many yrs since we moved in. Anyone has any contacts? Green Giraffe, who did you contact to have yours fixed?

Yes Josephine was the one who serviced me as well when i bought my recliner sofa. Very friendly, provides alot of info. She knows her stuff well. Service was good at the Park Mall outlet. definitely will consider them for future needs.
  10. hi Decade and all the others I am a owner who previously engaged Kelvin who was formerly from GPlan. I must say, we never had issues with our reno except for minor delays due to Hungry Ghost mth. No ID is perfect, no Contractor is perfect too. Getting a project completed successfully is the responsibility of both the owner and the ID. We can't just pay the ID and expect them to finish everything perfectly and on time, without any Owner intervention. If things are not coming up as per our expectation, we have to voice out. I have done that and explained to Kelvin clearly how i would prefer certain things to be done. I believe when we all monitor the progress regularly and explain our expectations clearly to the ID, bridges won't be burned. I am not sure why some owners in the forum are having issues with Kelvin lately. I am not sure why Kelvin has to behave this way. But I am sure he is not stupid to let his reputation, which he built with so much effort over all these years, to just go down the drain with stupid acts. It's been 3 years since I moved in. Even till today, when we require minor repairs or touch up due to wear & tear /everyday usage, he sends his ppl down to fix without any complaints/delays. I hope whatever issues Kelvin is facing, he better resolve it before it gets worst. Lastly, we owners are NOT getting anything from him for allowing strangers into our house to view his work. We are doing this simply out of goodwill. I believe other owners who have allowed strangers to view their house will agree with me too.
  11. Kelvin sentenced to 2 years ? Seriously ? Unbelievable
  12. My intention of posting this is not to promote him or his reputation. There could be owners out there who might want to get in touch with him. Since he is no longer GPlan, i just wanted to update everyone that he has moved on to start his own company. And that they can get his contact from me. Just wanted to make this clear as I am not here to provide any advertising for his company.
  13. Those houses on high floors get water supplied from the tank on the roof. Usually even the tap water is slightly warmer than usual due to exposure to sun. I know this because my parents stay on higher floor. No need to on heater. Also usually when they do maintenance for the tanks on top, their water supply turned off. They collect water from their friend living on 5th floor. Houses on lower floors get supplied from ground. Mine 4th floor, tap water ice cold all the time, even on a extremely hot day.
  14. Kelvin called today to update his new number, saying he has started his own ID firm: Artistic Design. He is no longer with GPlan. Anyone interested in engaging him, PM me for his number.
  15. Not sure if it was revamped recently. The last time i saw it was in 2006 and now it looks very different but still GPlan.
  16. Our walk-in wardrobe has glass door and we notice with everyday use, the glass door does not close properly. The gap between the glass door opening is widening. we engaged the contractors to come to fix. The contractors remove the glass door and re-attach it. Eventually after months of opening and closing, the gap widens again. So our glass door now does not close completely and always remains slightly open. Is the glass door too heavy that the hinges get loose ? Any ideas on what we can do? Do you have any glass door contractors to recommend?
  17. I use Ariston and stays hot for at least 24 hours but also depends on water usage too. Didn't know Joven can last so long....so good.
  18. GPlan was open when I went to IMM last Friday and there were customers inside. Guess, it's back on business...
  19. There is another thread which other complains on Thaj Homes : http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?sh...c=17629&hl= Better stay away from these guys...
  20. I m using tempered glass as backsplash and it is very thick glass which can withstand heat and does not crack. There are many forummers using tempered glass as backsplash. Easier to clean and the glossy look adds very classy touch to the overall look.
  21. Maybe he is shy ba ? My husband used to be like that too... Then later, he kinda overcame it. Now he hangs and folds them too. Never wash la bcos washing machine does the washing part.
  22. I postponed my delivery to Tues 28th as we have plans for the evening. Waited almost a month and my current sofa's leather is peeling all over. can't wait for the new one to come. Will post pics soon
  23. WAP ? got such encryption ? If you are actually referring to WEP, it can be easily cracked within 60s. Google it and you will see how often they are being cracked. WPA is definitely more secure than WEP. Length of IV for WPA is 48 compared to WEP's 24. That means using WPA gives you 500 trillion possible key combinations, which makes it almost impossible to crack...
  24. Yep i installed mine too, only on MBR toilet. No permit or whatsoever needed from HDB.
