  1. How about blockwood? Thought it is common nowadays that blockwood is used for shelving and sides of drawers?
  2. Hi, Does anyone knows what is the standard interior depth of the drawers for the bottom kitchen cabinet? Taking into account the standard exterior depth of the bottom kitchen cabinet is 2 feet / 60cm. Many thanks
  3. Hi Adah, Can you PM me kenneath number to me as I was told by the ID that I need to pay separately for sand. I find this weird given that Ideal House ID is given such a high rating here in Renotalk.
  4. Hi Sheryl278, It is good to know someone from River Vista posting on Renotalk. I'm just got my keys and is from River Vista too.
  5. Hi Michael, If yours is a new flat, it should be pay directly to the town council that is overseeing your flat. This is a flat rate which you can call to find out from your town council. You or your contractor can pay to the town council. Town council would normally appoint a permanent contractor to do this haulage job and your contractor is not allow to use his own workers. I presume the town council wanted only one contractor to clean up the estate. Just some of my humble opinions..
  6. Hi, Has anyone engage the services of Alpha Design before?
  7. Hi Lawsu, $750 seems pretty steep given the fact that there is no hacking for your home. You might want to get more quotes to compare or bargain with your ID on this. Most of the ID will see the final price to determine if they want to bring down this cost. Hi Gavirus, I believed your $800 to this ah soon is for the purchase of the sand and not haulage. Are you from River Vista too?
  8. Hi Bobztoise and Adah, Thanks for the replies. I just check with the Town council that it is up to the contractor whether he wants to buy sand from the appointed contractor at my block. Theoretically, pricing for tiling works should include sand, right?
  9. Hi to all, New to this forum and I just a quote from one of the ID from Ideal House ID recently. Just want to check on something, is the purchase of sand included inside the pricing for tiling works or exclusive. The ID I talked to said I must purchase sand separately from the appointed contractor at my block. Is this true?
