hello, you are back!! haha.. As for my gf, the guy is in his late twenties. They have just recently finished renovating their flat and last wk, before the guy brought up the breakup thing, he even went shopping for furniture together. ya, if a man changes heart, can tell plenty of stories. I just despise him that he didnt take the marriage vows seriously. Having said once and then forgotten all about it. hai, then how to find a true reliable guy to settle down? Once bitten twice shy. yes, quite right in that sense,not until having kids. But to me, a woman's youth is very limited. Annulment sounds better in the sense of wording, but the cold hard fact is unbearable. not really leh, he has bought her a coach bag all the way from US when he was on business trip. Isnt that not a way to show love? I am also confused by his action. Before dropping the bomb, they still go out shopping and watching movie. He always tries to make his gf happy by asking, eg where for dinner. yes, ROM is not the final destination for dating. But it is carried out with consent from both parties'. They are not forced in anyway or pressurized as far as I know. Maybe betrayal is in the sense of betraying my gf's trust in seeing him as the right man to spend her life together. As far as I know, the gf has done nothing wrong. I think maybe he is getting cold feet of having more "burdens" financially.

I just want to share a story here. This couple who has already ROMed in January last year, par toh for like 3 years, the bf suddenly dropped a bomb recently on the gf that he wanted a divorce. The reason/excuse he gave was like he was not ready for marriage, got "tired" of the relationship now, not sure if the gf is the one he wants to spend his life with etc. However, there is a tell-tale sign like he keep postponing the wedding dinner and the wedding photo taking, but when gf asks him, he keeps saying that it is of the money factor. The best part is when the gf's family got to know about this, he gave them the reason is because of the "money" thing again when they asked him what was happening! My question is if the bf is not certain that the gf is the ONE for him, why did he initiate the ROM in the first place and to apply for a flat? Why are there such men in this world?.

I would like to find out if anyone has engaged Mr Quek's service, as I have found his charges not that transparent after all. I dont know if he has too many projects in hand, he is quite forgetful and has charged me for the work which I told him initially to do, but dont need him to do at the end. Anyone has smiliar experience?

ya, who wants to live and sleep with hb who like a robot?! Little surprises can bring liveliness and bonding into the marriage. On the other hand, I am sure men will also want to have a wife who plays multiple roles - a good mother to the kids, a tidy housekeeper, a great chef and a sexy kitten in bed.

haha, yup, we should ask the men why they want to gawk so obviously and not discreetly. I cant understand those ah peks are usually the eyes popping out ones, like they have x ray eyes that see right through you. Some even smile at me when I stare at them. ya, some men are just bad at telling lies. It takes time to polish the skills and must always remember to be consistent throughout the lie. Not easy.

haha, we can actually start a "hbs-work-late" club for all the wives and organise dinner gatherings to keep one another company.

I feel good sense can be in the form of a sexy dressing, is all up to the person whether she can carry it off well and also if she sends out a positive (sexy, but elegant) or negative (sexy, but indecent) vibe. The person's speech and behaviour determines that.

oh, my Hb also works mostly seven days a week, sats and suns are just normal working days to him. Not only full day, but sometimes until 11 or 12. During his peak, it is even worse, a few times after midnight. His "pattern" is when he is busy, he doesnt bother to call or sms me at all. Right now we have not moved into our new house yet, at least I still have my parents who can accompany me. In the future, I shall be eating alone facing tv and the four walls every night. ya, I agree with Zirhk. This is a cold hard fact that we have to accept. So I suggest you should make your life interesting too, eg can have dinner with friends or colleagues, go workout. Tell yourself that you can still enjoy your free time and not be a dead fish when your hb is not around.

I dont look at brands, so is the design that counts which is even worse. More clothing which mean I need to have a bigger wardrobe.

I feel good dressing can send out this message "when you feel good, you look good." I am sure our hbs will feel proud if the wives get compliments from others. No men will want to go out with the wives who only has "auntie going market" sense. Sometimes men, eg my hb also has double standards, eg he can say "you can wear anything" in words, but his action, eg his facial expression, can say "can you dont wear this?". ya I agree that ai mei wants to go back to Tay out of revenge of being dumped and also the encouragement from Tay's mother. Again, all parents want the best for their children, but they have failed to ask the child if their arrangement is what the child wants or happy with.
