I am thinking of running CAT6 cable in my house rather than CAt5E, with all the hype about open net, i wanted to get it over done with once and for all. i came across this shop in sim lim tower, they are offering Brand 3M and AMP CAT6 Cable, the price is around $170 plus minus. They even sell a set of the networking tools so we can DIY the crimping of plugs and keystone and it even have a tester to test if the cable is working. I saw lots of this brand DRAKA around there, any idea wat is this brand DRAKA price like ? i heard it is every cheap. Any draka user here ?

Hey guys I was wondering, isnt clipsal like close down or taken over by some other company already ? I think if you could find clipsal in the market now are all consider old stock. But i do love the classic design of the Legrand plugs, the are more classy as compare to the conventional type of switches be it 1G or 2G, just my 2 cents though. but getting all the legrand faceplate for the RJ45 or RJ11 is kinda expensive so i was searching for a bargain at sim lim tower and came across this shop at the basement with green neon light for those who are interested in it, walk around and take a look you cant missed it. Anyway i found this faceplate which are not bad looking at a sligtly cheaper price of around $1.80 per plate excluding the base and the keystone, they also have a range of keystone avaliable from AMP and Clipsal (i think is the old stock) the AMP are around $4.80 and the OEMS are around $3.80 and the best part they are not GST regiestered so i kinda save on the 7%.
