    Isnt it this will cost more? Mine is straight down L shape connection. The center piping will expose so i wonder how is it being hidden got to wait till they complete the kitchen cabinets. No glass backing whatsoever so i wonder anyone can share some light on this one. Sorry to hijack your blog.

    I would hack the masterbed rm to make enterance to the bathroom. Seal the bathroom entrance from kitchen. WC position remain and place the basin outside to make space. Coz what is the chances ppl using yr bathroom? WC is open for public usage!! Also if you hardly cook divide the kitchen area into half. Kitchen cabinets area is near the window and the other half convert it into study room area.

    No brain cells require for tabao purchases. Peeks is your best fren, just cut and paste the link and pay up then wait for the delivery. I m at your shoe, spoil for choice choosing a courier. So i choose peeka makes my life easier, not sure abt charges though which i didnt really care as long as i dont have to guess what will happen next after placing the orders. Enjoy your reno journey, love your new house layout though is easy to do space planning .

    The horizontal overhang one u can use a long flat plank then use long pole to hold it after tiled, oops is it too late? :-)

    Hmm the cement paste is not "dry" enough should abit more . You are the DIY king!! Congras!!

    For the tiles mortar (cement paste) the correct method is to half fill of water or less ( yes or less) for a small pail ( those grey color tupe). Then scoop the cement powder bit by bit fill into the pail till u can see is like paste form. After which dont have to stir thoughly. Any tiling the wall portion got to be screed with cement paste and left it dry for bonding purpose. Hope u have done enough research before starting else tiles will pop out later on if the bonding process is not done properly!! My 2 cents
