This is not true, in fact tiles price is going to drop soon due to oversupply, EU decided to tax on china tiles n china is pulling out from exporting there..Tiles price should drop as much as 30% due to massive oversupply. Maybe those ID company wants to be like Insurance company. taking advantage of others misery to boost their profit margin

  9. Check for extra holes, rusted hinges, different wood texture or thickness = because a lot of contractor use back what they dismantle from other projects, mix n match the wood( just relaminate). This is a common practice with contractors to boost their profit margin.

  13. What type of contractor Singapore use? supplying laminate with holes n patch up with stickers n liquid paper??? This is outrageous!! No wonder they love to drag the renovation process 4-6 weeks (to ensure we can't be there everyday to spot mistakes n sloppy workmanship)

  15. Your quote is very reasonable except your Kitchen. for a 2+1 condo the kitchen is not big..the quote is more likely for a terrace house U-shape kitchen with island
  16. My fried is an Ikea fan and whole house was done up with Ikea furnitures incl kitchen he suggest that don't get Ikea kitchen as the laminates don't last.(start to peel after 2.5 years) installation price is high (approx $1000)

  21. Phillips living colors was very popular in 2008 (it was launch in 2007)..swept across Europe with it's color changing mood LED light. Somehow, their popularity seems to have faded over time. I wonder why?
  22. With almost 60% of household having LCD/plasma/LEd tv and computer with lcd screen, furniture company are still not selling up to date tv console n computer tables? Nowadays, we don't need bulky tv console and computer tables..what we need is a slim version that saves space. for example, computer table need only be 30 cm depth to for keyboard to fit under table (slide out to use) I wonder how long will it take for the furniture industry to catch up with the idea?

Invest in shares = u realise profit/loses in short time ( usually within 2 years) Invest in property = long term profit (rental will cover loan while property appeciates at 4-8% per annum = better than bank interest) Invest with fund managers = giving money to a gambler n ask him to gamble without supervision n he will let u know a few years later if u made any winnings ( he still charge u commission even if he has lost all your money)
  24. Just go to any Hardware shop n buy a tap filter..cheap n good those cement bits are from the construction of the pipes at new estate, just filter out using tap filter..water still safe
