  2. Hi Aron, Can quote me the price of Mitsubishi inverter MXY-3A28VA / 2 X MSY-GE13VA? and if the installation can be done on 2nd week of June?
  3. Look at the big picture..as long as u don't sell u don't lose..it's meant to be your home..not a $$$ making tool. Think of your next generation..what's the point u make some $$ now but your grandchilren do not have a home? Resale market still subject to market forces, only first time buyer from HDB will get a 4Rm flat At $120K which is affordable. Don't forget that the higher the price of property = higher rental = higher tax = your decendants end up paying high rental (if can't afford to buy one) DON'T BE SELFISH!!! Think of the future of your children and beyond....
  4. Go IKEA, there is one set at $999 (u need to pay approx $1000 for appointed contractor to install for u) total will be $2K
  5. WOW! I renovate Kitchen(4K), bathroom plus bedroom total only $15K yours only Kitchen? Is your name Robert?
  6. Gov is trying to divert attention of their failure by blaming the PR buying up HDB (of course thru their 'dogs' and spread this in unofficial channel) The reason for HDB price skyrocketing lies in: 1) Under supply - 1 mil increase in population (local n foreign) only 280K housing provided 2) Price increase by Gov themselves on new HDB (price increased by 230% compared to 10 years ago) fyi: my salary only go up by 12% for the same period (due to salary cut along the way (bird flu, economy crisis) Solution: If housing is developed at the same rate of population increase and offered at reasonable price ($120K for a 4 room flat) we can see a less drastic increase in housing price and the new generation could afford with their low income. (not everyone in Singapore earns 20-30K a month as a secretary (PM office) like Tin Pei Ling's husband)
  7. The cabinet look very nice..good work:) Hope your Ikea kitchen turns out well.
  8. ID = Interior designer, they use the same guy from classified section n mark up price because they need to do space planning, 3D design, think of design that would have never cross your mind and enhance the colour matching with your furniture. BUT if u just want a door...which u roughly knows what design u want..classified is your answer ID will only help u to spend more n read less (classified)...lol
  9. 1) no breakdown of prices? 2) if u look around, u can find kitchen n 2 toilets package starting from $8888 (need to specify what u want to do)

  13. I tried the mattress at Courts n I agree it is extremely comfortable n went back to google the review of this brand Common complaint: after 2 years the mattress will sink or the side collapse and they will not honor the warranty I don't think I can afford to change mattress every 2 years at the price they are selling

  15. Wah! your ID chopped u jialat jialat..usually if install only a few lighting point = $35/point, u install 48 sure have discount scv point normal is $100/ point but I ever pay only $50 for additional one and tel point is only 40 each (why $240???) those light at the price u mentioned must be high grade LED (60,000 hours) all these quote is already incl labour , so why the $350 labour to install???

  17. I would like to vouch that Tian Lu indeed do bring wealth Saw Tian Lu in China wholesale center selling for S$3 each(buy in bulk-100 pcs), in Singapore can sell $188-$288 each Money roll in faster than bullet train..definately bring wealth to the seller...lol
  18. Why don't u come n set up shop in Singapore, most interior designer are charging US$110 per foot run for Indian granite for kitchen top I believe u could make a killing if u could supply to consumer at US$80 per foot run as your export price is less than half of your retail price. This is a very good business opportunity for u as Singaporean love to renovate their house every couple of years
  19. Yours is resale Hdb which need to hack off existing flooring? if not, the haulage/clear debris charges is high As for the tiles, it depends on the quality that u choose..can be cheaper or more expensive. Build shower curb should be at the range of $70-$100/toilet overlay tiles again depends on tiles u choose..if those at the range of $3.80 should be around $300-400 per toilet So the price of $1000 is acceptable
