  1. Mine is ok. Maybe you can use the keys to open a few times. It should get better, I think.
  2. Thanks, I tested this evening and found that the door lockset does not have the problem you mentioned. I does not Know the brand of the lockset, it maybe difference from yours. My keys have a label on it say "nelon", not sure that is the brand of the lockset.
  3. Very nice toilet. I guess you have used the waterproof board to cover up the pipes and then tiled it over. How much is the cost of the box up? The only problem I worried is that if there is a choke, it will be a lot of problem. Normally, it won't.
  4. Very reasonable price. Definitely a price that is very difficult to match by ID.
  5. Curtain Rail: I brought the normal sliding curtain rails for my curtain from the neighborhood hardware shop. I brought three rails for living room and two bedrooms. All total costs less than $28 for Al rails and Al holder. My contractor agreed to mount it for me. Truly value for money. Will get the curtain later.
  6. I got my bedroom doors from the contractor Rick, I paid $280 per door. I actually I did not get the contract of the company. I only have the company that did my kitchen sliding door, but I am not getting from them. Actually I am thinking of getting the main door from Yontat. I will see the reviews from some of the forumers here. If you are getting from ****, please review it. Thanks.
  7. The trucking run mostly near the floor, only need to go up near the fancoil units in the bedrooms and when the trunking runs above the common bedroom door for the living room aircon. See post #109 -common bedroom and living room trunking. See post #105 - master bedroom (you can see the trunking running near the floor) and I also do a box up near the compressor area below the window.

  12. Thanks, add a few fine-touch during the phase 2 to add more practical. 1. Install a tempered glass (8mm) size about 90cm by 60cm on the solid top surface that is the right of the hob to prevent any scratches on the solid top surface. 2. Install a black color back splash at the sink area. 3. Install the stainless plate (10cm height) at the bottom of the sliding door so that the door will not be stained when mopping the floor.
  13. I think the tiler used chemical cements for the kitchen, the tiles thickness selected should not be too thick. Another thing is to use a slightly thick laminate flooring (some is 8mm, some is 9mm or 10mm). Lastly, if there is a slighhtly difference, the laminate floor installer will try to add some support (some form of plastic sheet) below the laminate floor to slope up the joint area to have a flat joint. Talk to both the tilers and the laminate floor guys, they can advise you.

  16. I also donot know that until I collect my fan from the Everjoint. They said they only have white ones at this moment , the silver one does not have stock. I also thought the fan has silver color. I say I can take the white one.
  17. I am using both the PVC with laminate and Alu for the the joints. It depends on the locations. The Alu joints are in the living room. However, the tile must be above the floor by about 8mm to 10mm depending on the types of laminate floor used. You may tell the tiler that the height between the joint to be 9mm or else the joint is very ugly if there is difference in height.
  18. Completion condition of Living Room:
  19. Laminate Flooring for Living room and bedrooms: Installation : The Pergo Aged Oak (dark brown)is for the living room, it is AC 5. The Robina Euroline is for the bedrooms, it is AC 4. Joint between the main door tiles and Living room Pergo aged oak: Joint between the kitchen tiles and Living room Pergo aged oak: Joint between the Bedroom Robina euroline and Living room Pergo aged oak: Overall the workmanship by floor option is very good and the workers are very detail in installing the laminate floors. Lessons learnt: There is some difference in the feeling of the floorings of Pergo and Robina. Robina gave a harder and solid feel. While the Pergo have softer feeling of wood and have some cushion when you walk on it; maybe it is made of Pine wood.
