  2. i really hope so. anyway ID just called. He said there is a miscomm, he will get the wrought iron grilles changed. phew.... i almost fainted when i saw the wrought iron grilles yesterday.

  4. hey i moved 3 times too. i used to live at blk 62X then moved to blk 63X haha..now to this current place 68X i have see alot of units around 65+ but we didnt fancy any. almost giving up and came across this unit. i am attracted by the balcony too.

  6. hi, i think there's a miscom. will make them change no matter what...cos the design is just so not my cup of tea. progress is good but there are still quite a far bit of stuffs outstanding: - bedrooms laminate - master bedroom wardrobe - kitchen cabinet - shoe cabinet - bomb shelter feature wall - tv console - window grilles - bedroom doors - main door & door grilles - toilet accessories - exisiting wall sockets change not sure if they can make it by 24th sept....
  7. kitchen lights installed dining light installed downlights installed too grilles at balcony installed...BUT!!!! they got the WRONG DESIGN!!!! *@$&@*$&@# asking them to change it!
  8. painting progress was pretty fast. the 1st coat of white is already done for the whole house balcony sliding doors installed
  9. ID called last week & mentioned that the bomb shelter door is in 'bad shape'. You will need to use alot of force to close the door, and the knob is spoilt. He mentioned that we need to contact HDB to do the repair as there is no retailer selling the door knob. Contacted HDB & they came to acess the damage & was quoted $170 for the repair of the door knob & the replacement of the rubber strip. Haiz...more things to pay for. old door knob the new stainless steel door knob rubber strip changed

  11. some items arrived today.... dining area light PLC lights & ballast water taps toilet basin kitchen sink
  12. false ceiling completed. ID created this plemet to cover the curtain track. the ugly water pipe which runs above the window is also covered
  13. stainless steel piping installed the ugly pipe which needs to be route thru the dining area ID will box up the pipe later finally the living room floor tiles completed progress is rather slow this week. hope to see more things up next week.....

  16. hi, they re-wired those at the existing false ceilings. and they do some re-location of power pt based on my request. i also asked them to conceal a few areas. these costs 1.8k. however this does not include those original point which is left untouch. they will quote another price for the case & labour for the change of the case separately.
  17. electrician came and re-route exisiting electrical cables. he mentioned that they are unable to sort out the old cables & was told they need to re-do those at the living hall. was quoted 1.8k for the whole house. i felt it was rather expensive but he mentioned its that price cos there are other areas which i requested for conceal and they are more costly. the main door frame arrived. they are going to start on carpentry next week. the aircon is going to be up too. was quoted a few brands but in the end we still stick to mit starmex.

  22. hi, thanks for the heads up. actually that is the 2nd time they came up to install the open net. they had a "miscom" of the installation date & came on a date earlier. my tenants let them in & signed over the installation on behalf. but...the contractor without asking us where we wanted it and self installed a long long trunking from the main door all the way across my living room to the balcony. we raised a complaint & only after various mails & calls then they agreeded to redo again. So sickening.
