Made the effort to call the banks regarding the change of address of previous owner. Most bank are quite responsive but.. 1. Citibank - Makes the calls to request of no less than 6 times, nonetheless, still receiving letters from them. It's so frustrating that they are even sending credit service firm employee to harass my unit. Withdraw all my accounts from Citibank and sent a complain letters to Citibank right after, Citibank still requesting me to go down to singpost and returned all the previous owner's letter. No apologize on any matters pertaining the mails nor the credit service firm's harassment, unbelievable ! 2. CIMB bank - They responded that they will only updates the address only when the previous owner requested to do so. It is so apparent that the previous owner's purposely avoiding all the letters. Make some noise on my second calls to them , hopefully no more letters gonna receive from them. Was so upsetting about how the banks operates.. I am sure I am not the first case anyway..

I have received three different firm's lawyer letter because the previous owner default his credit card payment to the banks, after I have moved in for more than 3 months. I check with the lawyer to see if I can lodge a police report because apparently, the previous owner never update his new address to the bank or government. The lawyer told me that the police has little to help on such cases. I always wonder why the previous owner never give me his contact , nor he have ever contact me since he moved out.Now I am praying hard the previous owner never use this address to borrow money from loan shark... Appreciate if anyone have a solution to this issue...

Going to receive my key by the end of the month, due to budget constraint I am just going to lay the tiles on living room and 3 bedroom. Preferably homogeneous tiles, does anybody have a good contractor to recommend me? thanks

I fork out almost everything i had to buy the hdb. We plan to rent out the rooms to support our loan, so, even if the price of the house has dropped, we still have some buffer, consider, the rental yield of the hdb is really not that bad.. Anyway, we are both PR, not here to speculate the hdb, merely wanted a roof above our head

thanks bro, i will go ahead for sure, waited many years to have my dream home, it's abit late and pricey though . Unlike others, i am not here to speculate the hdb but intended to stay for many years to come.

gonna have my first appointment next thursday.. I paid 22k cov.. mid floor 4 rm at cck, abt 1km away from mrt, house condition is original but owner keep it clean and tidy guess i might be the last person who paid the high cov, as the new policy is out, wondering if it'll hit the hdb resale market hard
