Hi all, Im a noob here and has been reading and learning lotsa on this forum. I spent the last 3 weeks searching for ID and finally narrowed down to Ideal House and Summit Design. Both their quotes are very close. Was quoted about $34000 for renovating my 5-room flat. Bathrooms and re-tiling of living/dining room not included. Only my 3 bedrooms will be laminated. Was told by both ID that my carpentry works are quite a lot, hence the quote. Would appreciate advice from peeps who have engaged any one of the 2 ID firms. I cant decide on which.

Im staying in Chai Chee. I think my house layout and size is exactly the same. New door at the balcony will be completed somewhere early next yr. Im not re-tiling the living/dining floor and am not touching both bathrooms but my final quote is at $34000. I want to see if I have more carpentry works hence the quote. Hi all, Im new to this forum. Was looking at to renovate my 5-rm HDB and was asked to surf this forum. I went to a ID firm and was quoted, in my opinion, a very high price. That was the first and only ID firm I went to for a quote. Am looking for a reliable contractor to take over. I have the digital prints from the ID firm with me (paid a $1000) and hence designs are taken care of. Kindly PM me if you have good and reliable contractors. Thank you!
