Hi,
I just installed a storage water heater(Ariston 30L) in my new house(not staying there yet) and I also asked the plumber to change all pipes in both toilets to stainless stain.
After the pipes are changed and the heater is installed, the plumber open back the main water valve to check if there is any water leakage and to fill up the storage heater.
After checking there is no water leakage at the pipes and storage heater, he switch on the storage heater to ensure the heater is working(there is a red light to indicate the heater is on).
After about 20 mins, the red light on the heater went off. This means the water in the heater is already heated up, water rdy for usage. We tested the water and it is pretty hot so I guessed everything is okie and I went back to my parents' place.
The next day, I decided to go to my new house to test out my new rain shower and the heater. I switch on the heater and the water is ready for use after 20 mins.
So I went to shower but as I was showering, I realised the water get colder as a few mins so I turned the knob on the rain shower mixer to allow more hot water in.
After a while, there is completely no more hot water. I tried a few times, the hot water at most only lasted for 10 mins.
Is this normal? If it is not normal, can someone share with me their experience? Thanks
Regards,
Jiaxing
