hehe actually my ID told me they tend to charge a higher percentage for profits if u living in EA , and an even higher percentage for Condo and landed.. because they think 'u should be able to afford' it. sigh. maybe for pple with landed but not true for EAs lor. we got EA coz no more 5 rms. sob. heee. u can dont change ur ic.. my parent's flat is 3rm.. keeee

hello sengkangers! hey i think renovating a EA really ex leh i cut alot from my ID's quote oso. in the end the house quite empty i think they charge abit more for the same things when they hear that ur house is EA.. similarly they charge higher for pte properties reno also:(

hehe. yar. its really not abt the money saved. actually when i look at the headboard i've done, although i saved $560, but we spent 6 hours of our time doing it. so if u DIY, u gotta really like the whole process of making something together so the 6 hours is worth it lor. you are right lor come to think of it maybe contractors oso don earn much.. $560 for 6 hrs! thats only abt $50 per person per hour. hehe. if i'm a contractor i would hav charged more to do the headboard. hehe. Hi! the cover can be changed when we get tired of it. coz the frame is pretty solid. The troublesome part is unpicking the staplets out when we wanna change the cover.. . hey i'm thinking of doing a fabric panel for my living room wall too! hehe dont have my hubby's stamp of approval leh i'm still trying to psycho him into letting me do something to the wall. make a feature wall or something. how. hehe which restaurant isit? can tell us? show pic even better!

hehe they wont come to inspect unless got complains lor. And when you sell your house nex time, they will make an inspection and ask u to remove everything that doesnt comply.. My colleague was told to remove her platform coz it was too high (above the allowable height).. but she manage to psycho the new buyer to accept the platform coz it looks nice oso lah...

Hi greycat.. my curtains all using curtain rods leh. cheap cheap from ikea.. we put it up ourselves. if u wan to DIY curtain tracks i've seen some neighbourhood hdb shops sell.. mustafa oso sell.. if not then can get the curtain shop to do everything including the curtains for you

ehh thanks thanks but don say untill like dat leh. nothing fantastic hor. i just like to DIY and make things lor.. can say its my hobby .. and in the process of DIYing,, i realised some things are just not that difficult to do.. just abit streneous on a skinny gal like me if gotta do drilling and stuff. thats y my hubby came in handy! hehe. must credit all the ardous and strenuous tasks to him..
