i got no space for nursery room! ours is an EA and we knocked down the study to enlarge the living room. so effectively only got 3 rooms. 1 is MBR, the other converted to a study. so the spare room was supposed to be our nursery room. but then didnt imagine i got twins, so hiring a maid to help my mil take care.. so the spare room become a maid room. sob. i'm so pressed for space now.

I've seen the vinyll and the xacto knife selling from artfren before. or u can use a pen knife.. i did my decal below with a pen knife but its hard to cut lor. maybe xacto knife will be easier.

hee. i paid about $170 from a CNY exhibition in vivocity. she say she's the third generation papercutting artist from Wan's papercutting art. not sure whether thats famous as we are not v knowledgeable in papercutting. so are such papercutting cheaper in china?? how much were u quoted? i oso v curious to know

Heheh and i think ur cats will run away from it! thats wad my dog did! he's such a big dog but so scared of the tiny irobot that we find it hilarious. perhaps he thinks its noisy and boisterous.

yup! it was love at first sight for us. we bought it over the CNY at a fair from a chinese artist..

i bought it for $700 plus from courts.. hmm i cant remember whether mine is the 560 series. yup it goes back to the docking station. so far it has gotten stuck sometimes, when it went over our carpet corner and folded our carpet underneath it and it couldnt move at all. but we noticed that it will auto off after several unsuccessful attempts of releasing itself. so its ok. at least it wont keep vacuuming the stuck corner. but on the whole i think it works best if u have less furniture lor. ours is an EA so it has lotsa room to run around.

hehe i got irobot tooo! now its doing all the vacuuming for me. using it like twice a week. i think its not bad la. but it tends to miss out some spots especially the corners. so overtime the corners really get dirty and dusty.

wah! why? i'm using my irobot like 2 times a week.. hehe. now weekends we only wipe the tables/countertops and wash the clothes.. no more vacuuming!! yippee

After facing a blank dining wall for 1 year, we've finally decided to hang up some of the existing art that we have! The one on the far left is a chinese paper cutting, 2nd piece is a design cutout from a old shopping bag, and 3rd and 4th piece are old drawings that i framed up using ikea frames. this is my dining wall now. i'm thinking of making it more colourful next time but feeling abit lazy nowadays so using whatever i have right now

Hi OMO, i finally went to DIY putting up the wallpaper. for just one wall in my MBR. (abt 3m long). Its SUPER TIRING. and not to mention we had BACKACHES AND NECKACHES trying to align the patterns. hee. maybe coz we not experienced. took us one whole day to put it up.. in the end me and hubby decided its not worth DIYing wallpaper again just to save a few hundreds.

I also wore wedding gown at my hubby's place for tea ceremony and i changed to cheong sum for my parent's place. cheong sum is so much more comfy then the wedding gown!!

Hi Hi! opps my wedding is over but would like to check for a friend, can they make do with normal colourful chinese teapots & teacups (those wth chinese dragon motifs on them) or must they specially get those meant for wedding with the double "xi" words printed on the teapot?

when they are still BBs dont really dep on parenthood ma. i've seen some BBs very smiley and let everyone carry them. some just cry and cry and want to be pacified.. hehe anyway when they grew older think i will end up shouting and caning them. coz i remember my mum used to cane me and bro alot. oopps. how there wont be retribution.

i like your airwell! will bring in lots of light into the living rm! actually it reminds me of some of the houses i saw at sentosa cove, with the kitchen and living at the back, and the back opens up to the river for their yacht. out of curiousity is household shelter a requirement in landed homes too? its really fun to be able to design your dream house from scratch. sigh! envy envy.

sob sob... the problem is.... .... my first trimester is just over!!!! and i'm still vomiting like a merlion. all my food.. eat already just puke out automatically after 1 hr.. lost interest in doing anything except to sleep... zzzz affect my work leh. and i oso seldom log in to renotalk now.. aiyo i'd never imagine i'll be so badly hit by all the symptoms.. always thot it wont be so bad coz normally oso pretty healthy..
