That time I also only wanted the bed frame. Sandy sold us for $1k. Don't know if it's too high for you, but you should see the interior, really good quality, not the kind with black cloth everywhere. It goes all the way down to the floor so no dust can go underneath too. Good luck.

Hello, I have bought this bed frame with storage at Englander. Must say I love their service. You can look for Sandy at Furniture Mall if you are interested. The bed frame is good, the base is lower so the storage is bigger. And I feel the quality of the wood is better. Also comes with guarantee (forgot 5 or 10 years) for the made-in-germany hydraulic pumps. I bought both mattress and bed frame for $2k, Q sized. Good luck for your search!

Hello everyone and here's an update! Finally hooked up the computer to HomePlug, had no internet while we were busy setting up the house. It is currently in a mess, but we are loving the outcome of it! Can't wait to clean up everything and get ready for housewarming. Andy, our ID from Baroque, has been very accommodating and patient. He is always helping me to find ways to save! Thumbs up to him. We are also selling 2 items away. A brand new single 3 in 1 bed WITH mattress, and a used but in excellent condition, less than a year Samsung Fridge. Please refer to my other topics if you are interested. Anyhows, here are the pictures. Living Room We only have 1 picture of the TV feature! Will take more tomorrow. Here's a picture of the shoe cabinet at the foyer. Here is the kitchen.

Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of update. Images will be coming up as soon as I get access to a computer. Renovation is going on, and we have done most of the buying part. Sad thing is, our current fridge which is still new (less than a year) will not be able to fit into the space for the washing machine. So we need to go and buy a new one. I am also wanting to change the door knobs - they are rusty and loose... The price will be about $50 per lock, 3 doors. Main door will be $150. Window grills have too many locks, one push lock above, the latch lock in the center, and one push lock below. I plan to remove the top and bottom locks, and change the latch locks. Cost is about $15 per lock, about 10 locks! Overall will be about... Maybe $500! Now in the process of painting and doing the kitchen walls, and also fixing up the lights and air con! Will update again soon!

Main Door Lock
sanntan replied to l_club23's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
sorry to borrow your topic... my ID is offering to change the main door locks (as in those attached to the iron and wood door ((not the padlock)) ) for $150 each and $50 for the bedroom doors. is it reasonable? because the current knobs which I bought over, I found it a little rusty. -
he's very into the fusion red/black/gray/white thing, so... let him lor. Heh heh. Nah I prob won't be changing my blues. I like it... Very soothing color for me!

It's a very boy room... But my bro wants it to be as 'passionate' as possible. It's looking good huh? Now I starting to regret my blue room heh heh

No, Edmund is too busy and he rejected me via email... Heh heh... Cry cry. But in the end we settled on Andy from Baroque D'zign. He seems to be a very patient and accommodating person, especially towards me and my brother who are very anal about how things are done and designed. Hello and thanks for the input! I'm actually a Chinese family buying over a Muslim flat, so there are no issues and we are quite happy taking over their current hob/hood and inbuilt oven. The biggest headache are the tiles in the kitchen behind the fridge to the cooking area. I want to get rid/hide the ugly white conventional tiles... So we have decided to lay a piece of tempered glass over the tiles there. I pretty like the cabinet doors too ^^ 2nd appt coming up soon... And we got 99% of our shopping done! Left with the Ikea stuff to buy. It was hard for us to find colored ceramic sinks, but we managed to get: Baron brand small pink ceramic sink from GR Link @ $50 Claytan brand bigger blue ceramic sink from Poh Joo @ $42 Also, we bought: GR Link - living room fan with lights and said above basin @ $340 Hoe Kee - toilet accessories excluding basins @ total $707 lightings.com.sg - storeroom, toilet lights plus a small dressing light Samsung soundbar C450 from GainCity Expo sale @ $358 changed the laundry system to the retractable one so it's not so messy... from Tame as well. Just changed orders and they were more than happy to agree. $788 SOOO yup almost ready to move in now! Just waiting for updated drawings from ID. Looking forward to it.

anyone know where to find colored ceramic basins for the toilets? my current toilets are pink and blue, I don't want to hack the tiles so we'll be keeping it. have found the colored toilet bowls but all the hardware shops tell me colored ceramics are out of production.

if you are interested, I have purchased a set of this laundry system (3 OR 4 poles) from tame productions @ $548, but I have decided to make do with my current laundry hanger. I have paid $100 deposit for it, but all you need to pay will be $448 upon delivery if you are interested. I will call them to arrange the change of address. Here is the said system... Just drop me a PM if anything

Thanks! I intend to put covered shelves with solid doors. Maybe sliding ones if we can afford it. So we can slide and hide if we want.

MBR wardrobe and study table cum make-up table with pull up mirror: Our theme for this room will be Tiffany Blue. Bedroom 2: As this will be mum's room, we have decided to keep it to a neutral, light tone. But we will be changing the color of the wardrobe frame to dark brown to sync with the rest of the furniture. Bedroom 3: Brother's proposed wardrobe with display shelving at the side. Big headache. He is so fussy! Hahha... He wants a black/maroon/white kinda fusion concept. Going to have to meet ID up again to talk about the colors and design for him.

Met up with Andy to take a look at the first 3D proposed drawings and choose our laminates~! Time draws near... Foyer: We wanted the cabinet to be built higher into the recess area... Going to have to change that. Living Room: We are going to implement shelving on both sides of the feature because we just have so many books and DVDs! Settee for dining room: Just what we wanted... Perfect! We will be changing the tiles as well, to do away with the conventional white square ones.
