I need to also know if let say I get the aircon from you, are you able to make a trip down on 2nd June (next thurs) for 1st installation? Site visit can be anyday before that. Would appreciate your quick reply.

Great stuff! And between, I was also hunting for KDK AY11S as ceiling fan! couldnt find it anywhere now! so now going for the KDK 4 blade one which is available. Love the AY11S as I thought it is very compact size.

hi footprint, Is it possible to take a photo of your kitchen from your living hall area so that I can view both the fixed panel and window at one go? Right now if i understood correctly, the photo was taken from dining area showing the window side. Your dining area have a mirror and I keep misunderstood that as fixed panel see thru. hehehehe...end up took me awhile to figure that out. I need this becoz that day when I was discussing with my contractor, he told me the fixed glass panel must fixed all the way to the ceiling else that portion of the wall at the top which was left unhack will have no support. But I was like....wouldn't that look very ugly with all the beams coming in the way????? So I need to show him a photo to tell him. This can be done. Cheers

footprint, Is that a mirror or a half glass at the kitchen wall? Im doing half glass for kitchen wall beside the dining area. Mine one is a L shape half glass (facing the bomb shelter and dining area). I am just wondering did you built half-glass all the way to the ceiling or just the middle portion? Just wondering how to counter those area with the beams if you construct glass all the way to the ceiling. My concern with all tower fan, is it easy to maintain? seems to me there is no way to clean the blades within?

If quotation from ID/Contractor on haulage and clearing of debris is too high, say above $800, can we tell our contractor that we get Mr Lim than? Since its definitely $800max. Im just puzzle why would any ID/Contractor quote so high for this item? Dont they know the HDB pricing themselves??????? Or they really think we are big carrot head?

I see all round lights surrounding your Dining Area. Are those cove light as I cant really tell from the pic. The way it is constructed seems to suggest to me they wont collect dust, like 1 whole strip of lights flush to the false ceiling shining downwards. Quite cool.

did you hang your ceiling fan with false ceiling? any shadow effect created when you on your downlights and also your fan? I intend to do something like yours, but my ceiling fan will definitely be at the TV cosole area where the sofa is. More practical as will be seated over there most of the time while in the living room.

Hi Aron, Im either looking for 1) system 4 (non-inverter) OR 2) 1 system 3 (non-inverter) and 1 single split (non-inverter) Moving in soon to a new 90sqm 4rm BTO HDB flat. Aircon ledge area 2 sqm (Not too sure if the aircon ledge area is big enough to hold 2 compressor in the event i decide to opt for option 2) My living style...Not heavy user but wanted to make sure when there is a need, the option is there. Hi Kamal, Just to ask for your living room, i noted from your 3D diagram that you did false ceiling with down lights and a ceiling fan. As the living room is quite small, will there be an issue of creating shadows on the floor when both downlights and ceiling fan are on at the same time? Thanks.

Hi, I have a question. Should we (havnt collect key yet) 1) wait till key collection, fengshui the house first than approach ID? (Bearing in mind for sure the FSM will require us to place certain things (e.g sofa) at certain area, build some partition at certain area etc and hence after knowing all this, than tell ID on the "must have") or should we 2)just proceed normally to look for ID, roughly know their proposals, than after collect keys, engage FSM to do fengshui? I am just not too sure if the discussion with ID will be wasted if FSM proposed something which deviates alot from ID drawings. For those that has Feng shui their new house, what did you guys do??? Try not to suggest get them both together at the same time. Its something which I think not quite possible to happen for my case.
