Hi, My present side by side fridge "MAYTAG" is near to the end soon, after abt 12yrs. The technician advise me to get a new one instead of repairing. So I'm looking around to get one & narrow down to either 1. LG GR-L208BLK or 2. SAMSUNG RS21HDEPN Both with auto ice maker & water dispensing. Reason why I want these functions because I already have the piping done for my present fridge. Any advise from anyone who share the same models or already in use with some experience & advice to share. Anyone bought at what price? Thanks so much for your help. Have a nice day

Has been using this machine for over a week. Overall result satisfactory. 1. Tried the daily wash function, time abt 1.10hr, can choose cold or hot water. There are also other wash functions but did not try yet eg. cotton, denim etc. but I think not necessary for daily wash. 2. Air wash is also good, basically using hot air to sanitise the laundry but limit to 1kg. Tried on a small cushion. 3. Dryer function also good. Tried on bedsheet and complete dry 1hr. It will first determine the weight of the laundry to be dried & fix the drying time automatically. Noise level is good & spinning very stable. No complain. User friendly wise is ok. Nothing complicated in my opinion. If anyone think of using a dryer once a while it's ok to get the washer dryer machine, else if frequent drying required then get a separate unit. Only unknown is the reliability of the Korean brand. Previously used Electrolux for >8yrs, then Brandt 3yrs before trying Samsung. It was a last minute change of mind from getting Electrolux again to Samsung because attracted by its functions & price. Will feedback further on the experience. Cheers

Hi, Sorry if this was discussed before, I'm seeking some advice on which brand to replace on my old one. Now I'm using the Ariston 30L model for the past 10yrs. It got rusty & recently also find it took longer time to heat up. Heard that the new Ariston model is not as good as before. See there's many brand around eg Alpha, Rheem, LA, Magnum(by 707) etc etc. My present Ariston model is the square type with inlet/outlet facing downwards mounted in my common bathroom. Not sure if changing to other brand with round drum is advisable considering if space is ok. Thank u in advance for any advise from fellow members.

It seems like the price is getting lower now. Saw at Courts price still $1499 but instead of throwing in 22" LCD now become 22" LED TV. Just got the machine yesterday and found it good. Noise level is also good. Tried the washing no problem. Also tried the air wash on the cushion also ok. Not sure if I do air wash on those cushion covers that have the velcro any problem. Yet to try. Still more exploring required.

wow, that's the best buy. infact i did call them to check price but they dun reveal on the phone. So I dun want to make a trip down just to check the price & secure the one from the expo. So anyone want to get this now know where the best place to get.......hahahaha

The one that was exhibiting at Expo last weekend from Liang Court outlet. Also check the latest Samsung promotion now is that they removed the free gift - 22" LCD TV, so lower price. Didn't check further on the retail price now, but I think should be around >$1299.

The white one. The gey is abt $100 more. Didn't ask them but ask many places b4. Anyone got an even better price recently?

Best I found $929 at Expo. Somewhere $999 Others $1299, $1399, $1499, all come with 22" LCD so I see not worth.

Wow thanks so much for the info. I'm also extremely interested in this Samsung machine. Initially I started with the normal Electrolux washer, then to washer dryer..................until I see this Samsung. Was all the while have impression that Electrolux is the best for washing machine becos tried others don't last long. So now very attracted to this Samsung features. Do feedback after your experience. Me should be buying this by next week, heard Samsung will have some new offer. Thanks & cheers.

Hi, Need some advice on the Fujioh Hood. Which model is a better choice? FX900R or FX890R? The FX900R made in China & the other Japan. The FX890R size is a bit non standard 890mmL which normal is 900mmL. If next time want to change maybe problem with built in cabinet. Thanks so much in advance.
