For the Toshiba System 2 Inverter, paid about 2.4k+

I bought a top load Thomson washer / dryer; delivered about 2 weeks back. The dimension is 450x600mm. Thomson did a demo of the machine at my place. The performance of the machine so far so good.

Just want to share. I got my flush bolt to the metal gate replaced. Went to this shop called Alpha Metal at Ang Mo Kio industrial park. They recommended someone to us and we got it replaced. Flush bolt is twenty bucks and got to pay some servicing fee. But we also changed some window handles at the same time. Overall service not bad.

If u use air con very frequently, suggest u go for the inverter system, cheaper in the long run. I have been using Toshiba inverter system; no problems. Bought from Gain City. Heard Mitsubishi Electric is very good as well.

I think bomb shelter wall can take a nail not deeper than 50mm.

If can, keep to originals from hdb. They are so kiasu, give us the best window system, main gate and main door. Though not the best looking, but serve the purpose

Bring errant Architects to task, he will risk losing his professional license. That is if he is really an Architect with a capital A, i.e. registered with the Board of Architects (BOA) of Singapore. You can check out if he is a real Architect from the BOA website. Only a registered Architect could make plans submission for authorities approval. There are some 'architects' that designs but pay a sum to a registered Architect to make the plan submission.

Whatever people can say, condo is definitely better than HDB, the facilities, the security, the tranquility, the cleanliness etc is something HDB don't have, and if u are living or have stayed in one, you know it. Agreed. I have moved three times. It's a hectic process; renovating, purchases and the moving etc. Given a choice, really just want to stay put...
