try using this type of 168 silicon with anti-mold formulation... cost a bit more...

Copper pipe prices are quite high now, so be prepared to pay more for materials…

Yes, if they got to relocate the gas-meter to outside and connect the supply, it has to be 2 trips involved. must be done by citygas appointed contractor.

no harm to give a non-obligatory call to my main con for quote, AFAIK, he has a team of subcons with long interworking relationship, so won't anyhow quote prices one.

i think the hype about cat6, being a newer standard (ratified standard? ), pple tend to go for them just becos of futureproofing... given good cat5e cables, they are able to achieve sustained gigabit thru puts w/o problems at all, that's provided all routers/switches/bridges/terminals all are running at GE speed. i think for video streaming, got to get a more powerful CPU-based NAS else for multiple video streams... very cool chromed switches, but it will look very nice when mounted flush to the wall, w/o the ugly square box behind...

you are doing false ceiling for your kitchen?

see if u can go back to the shop to bang table and request changing of something else, then switch to songcho... their simple soapholder costs $30+ but when u hold it in your hands, it feels solid and robust one... that's y dun be tempted to buy those shiny chromed accessories at cheap prices in the showroom...一分钱一分货,便宜没好货,好货没便宜...

i think need to be clear about the power consumption of LEDs vs traditional lamps. electrically one LED takes about 50mA at 2.5V to light up bright. multiply that together gives 125mW. that is the actual power consumption. multiply that by a string of 40 LEDs gives 5W of electrical consumption. looks good. however, need to consider the other factors like AC/DC converter efficiency and it's inherent consumption.... LED lights are more directional compared to normal bulbs which has a more omni-directional light output pattern. so, looking straight at a lighted LED shows extreme brightness, but looking sideways, light output falls quite a lot. best to use some measurement tools like luminance meter to test the brightness (measured in candela per square meter (cd/m²) that is the most zhun...

brightness/luminance still same as before?

also take note if the cheaper mixers are used, they will be hot to touch.... esp when eyes full of soap and using your hands to feel for the tap. :D better (more exp) mixers will have thermal insulation on their bodies.

Rig up a solar panel with wires connected to the LEDs, bathroom light turn on the LEDs will light up, if lights off LEDs will not light up… haaaaaa

OpenNet for my block is done sometime back early this year, about the time i OTP the resale...so this is a paid $220 installation. if your block is stipulated end of the year, then just wait for the free installation lor... anyway, it's rather simple and straightforward for them to core one small conduit thru the corridor wall where the original HDB-provided TV/FM point is. just get ur ID/contractor to leave an area there untouched

yes, the entire width of the kitchen uses 1 fixed and 2 movable sliding doors.... i tink market rate is something like 700~800 buxx per glass door....anything that is associated with glass is typically more expensive, prolly cos of the timeless design...

Contra gain lagi shoik.

haha, i oso have problems with my grille supplier....
-
already 2.30
-
think that is a generic response to end users, since no definite timeframe given for installation...
-
thanks.... yes, definitely, they will take measurements, design, supply & install the glass doors and aluminum tracks... prices are approx 2k, but rem to factor in construction of pelmet to conceal the tracks which cost not more than 300 buxx

ya, can remove newspapers liao.... haaaa speaking of the grilles makes me .... the same grille supplier visited my flat three times!!! first time, delivered the fixed grille which i told them it's the wrong one as i had communicated to my main con about casement-type grille, then he tried to smoke me by saying fixed grille is better, which i passed the phone (my main con was on the line then) to him, so LLST brought the grilles back... second time came back with casement grilles, but tried fixing up, but cannot open due to my L-box/pelmet blocking... he said "it's like that one, can't open much" which i rejected and ask him to measure the correct height of the casement opening & redo... if he never measure correctly, then it's no fault but his own... tio bor? third time come back then make good, albeit face not very happy finally done up frosting film on windows...
