  2. oh, u mean the one with Atco magnetic ballast? Tot magnetic ballast lasts longer than electronic ones?
  3. if i am not wrong, under the new ruling, all water-consuming devices must be checked and endorsed by PUB wrt to water efficiency. in other words, those unchecked fixtures, taps, mixers, wc bowls are not supposed to be on sale.
  4. observe their materials used and their workmanship during install... that's the only way to ensure quality...

  6. TV console done... Front view Rear view Recap the original draft...some slight changes to the movable console such that it can only turn 180 clockwise and CCW and will not keep turning until the HDMI/VGA/power/coax cables get twisted and damaged .... Test-dropped VGA cable into lobang.... came out of the shelf nicely...
  7. Rotating TV console arrived... Marking out... on false ceiling... and test-fitting... Coring thru rotating platform...
  8. First coat of varnish on MBR veneer door... Sanding off the basecoat of main nyatoh door... Completion...
  9. Old main door removed... Test-fitted with new one... Coring of holes... Chiseling recessed area for the deadbolt...
  10. Ceiling guys working on constructing pelmet to cover the glassdoor tracks... and touching up... Carpenter taking aim at the dishrack telescopic hydraulic extender... while his assistant puttying the nail-holes on the drawer...
  11. Meanwhile, plumber complete the kitchen sink works + mounting of accessories... New bedroom doors arrived... Test-fitting ok... Done for MBR door... 20min later CR door done...
  12. Stripping off the external jacket... Fusing the cable to the optical connector... Got light!!! Passed!!! Installation took less than an hour...
  13. Today is a hectic day, many groups of subcon came and work.... plumber, OpenNet, ceiling, doors, grilles, carpentry.... Purple guys already running optical cable even before I arrived at 845am... Installed termination point next to my MCB... Their splicing eqpt...
  14. Your TPLink is also placed in the closet? No problems with the signal covering the entire unit?

  16. J & J Glass Construction came to install the last piece of tempered glass door in the afternoon.... Took a quicksnap and went off... ... returned at night to clean and polish the glass using glass cleaner... Doors fully opened.... and fully closed... Called them up to arrange for sticking frosted film strips on the door to avoid any accidents..... coming up tmr, OpenNet installation, carpentry, plumbing, window grilles installation.... would expect a busy day tmr... wish me luck

  20. yes, that's what i was told too... a false ceiling on top of the headboard is a no-no, my fren told me this and immediately i relocated my cove lights away from the bed...
  21. Is your dishrack located to right side of the cooker hood? i would think the dishrack is best located above the kitchen sink, as you wouldn't want to walk to and fro keeping the plates after washup and wetting the floor.... my 2 cents.
  22. I think not a good idea to put the built-in oven next to the fridge for thermal reasons....also will the fridge be able to open > 90deg? A tip: before the new cabinet is put up, get the contractor/ID to acid-clean the grout-lines between the wall tiles and re-apply a fresh coat of grouting, so you'll have a spanking new walls
