  1. yes, can do, but may be more exp due to the telescopic arm mechanism, initially i wanted to do up Blum Aventos system for my dish rack, but the price of the lift mechanism was 160+, so settled for telescopic hydraulic arm. look closely again, the washbasin is some distance away from the shower area. anyway, the idea of shelving under sink is not maximised becos the shelves need to make way for the drainage pipe and bottle-trap, so might as well dun put.
  2. if not wrong this design is rather dated, offers no pratical usage apart for putting things at tabletop. first, decide how are u going to use the storage and how much storage space u need. if u dun need so much space, can just settle with the bottom cabinet and forego the top cabinet. that should save some costs for not doing the upper cabinet. solid top is charged at 70+ psf. alternatively u can build the bottom cabinet using concrete support with homogeneous tiles as solidtop, durability confirmed outlast wood cabinet. but design looks dated though.
  3. not too sure, but if the areas that cannot be touched for the first few years (cos of waterproofing issues) shd still be their liability...no harm asking them.
  4. if that the case, escalate to HDB and invite them come take a look lor....

  8. maybe i'm too fussy about it, but please be there when ur plumber first turn on the water supply, get him to flush out all the gunk/sand/dirt out of the new pipes for 5 minutes before connecting it to the water heater (be it storage or instant heater) or WC cistern. make sure each pipe branches are flushed out before connecting it to the mixers/taps, etc.... you wouldn't want sediments to be trapped in the tank or clogged in the filters.
  9. Received the PowerGrid testing certification and single-line drawing of the entire unit's electrical distribution... Certified safe for turn-on by Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)... Can't imagine a few hundred bucks for this 2 pieces of paper, these LEWs sure earn big bucks wor....

  11. spent a lil bit more on home entertainment..... yesterday got meself a Cambridge Audio Sonata AR30 and Mission M30i bookshelf speakers A product shot of the iPod dock + amp combo, FM/AM + 3 auxiliary inputs + iPod/iPhone, .... very high-quality internal construction with donut toroidal transformer power supply... a tiny package that packs a beefy 40Wrms per channel @ 8ohms ....more than enuf for me... and the accompanying bookshelf speakers... looks small in size but big in sound... initially was skeptical and worried the bass cannot make it and need a subwoofer to go with it (additional $$$ and footprint)... but was pleasantly surprised with its performance.... The combo in action... working perfectly with my iPhone 3G with simultaneous internet tethering....
  12. wa, this one jialat. need to ask ur contractor how come it's not stainess steel and request him to make good... apply rust inhibitors will not solve the problem since it gets wet and washed away eventually.
  13. dun worry about the sequence, your contractor shd be able to plan the sequence if he is experienced. if u still feeling antsy about it, can read up my t-blog page 2 for the chronological sequence also, not to be overly worried about the flooring. your contractor will supply corrugated protection paper to cover the completed laminated flooring. any damages arising out of he/his subcon work will be made good by them.
  14. if u need a rotating tv design and the rest unchanged, most likely will need customizing a stainless steel pipe that is bolted on ceiling and floor to do so... and that pipe will cost quite a bit.
  15. thanks froggy for taking the time to go thru... no doubt my reno is completed, i will always try to find fault with the flat and try to touch-up....haaaaa, those cable trunking gaps that can be further touched up, i will get a tube of silicon caulk and seal them up.... ;p
  16. the model i bot according to the salesman, is the latest one, so i not sure if they sell there, but no harm go there check out....ya, i tink that NEA website oso shows aircons single/multi/inverter/non-inverter models.... so make a detail study of the specs before committing... yes, inverter will cost more than their non-inverter fixed-speed counterparts.
  17. can ask ur plumber to check on the water pressure to see what issit like....
  18. bingo.... the fridge is running 24/7/365, compared to lights running 8/7/365...
