46~60k for 3rm with standard plain reused design? you must be kidding. that amount can fully reno a 5rm liao. for a 3rm reno quote <30k can do up very nice already.

suspect it was already damaged when delivered to u. was there any visible damage to that piece of corner styrofoam and carton used to protect that damaged corner? if no visible damages then maybe a case of factory defect.

it depends on how hardworking u are to clean the window frames and grilles... like a spanking new car, first few months every week wash, polish twice a month, one year later, wash once a month, polish half a year, at the end of 2 years, send to yewpom to wash and gets lots of scratches.... get dark bronze type which will be low maintenance, clean or no clean, doesn't look any difference......haha

hp is horsepower, a imperial measurement of motor power. should use BTU instead. most hdb bedrooms need no more than 9000btu for fast n efficient cooling. if require two rooms to cool simultaneously, a compressor no more than 20k btu is needed. if need to cool additional rooms, then compressor capacity need to be higher, but this all depends on ur usage, to balance between power bills n cooling efficiency (how fast to reach desired temperature). for more energy savings, get inverter type with more ticks. downside is more expensive but better savings in long run. so buy based on what is needed, not salesman sweet talk. a list of aircons performance is found in nea website.

is your WM going to be placed behind the sink? if so, have to be careful of water splashes onto the laminate cos may peel off after some time. for that reason I gotten my contractor to build a low hollow-block wall... just a note, the wall tiles behind the kitchen cabinet dun cost that much to paste, neither are they weaker to hold any load as long as the bolts and wall attachments are long enuf.... I'm sure u will need privacy film for your common room windows... you hacked off the partition wall between your MBR and common room? next time u sell off u may need to reinstate the partition wall else it may affect the valuation of ur palace... design looks nice, with the glass partition same as mine

When doors opened for the walk-in phase at 10am, only about 20 people turned up. Analysts said that's way below expectation compared to other DBSS projects, given also that units were sold on a first-come-first-served basis. They also said the response could be due to the government's move to stop land sales for now under DBSS projects, leading to uncertainty over property values for this sort of public housing in future.
