NAS no need to be wireless and still able to access wirelessly.... as per any wireless communication, it's not 100% reliable. and adding repeater reduces the bandwidth significantly while extending coverage. no free lunch in this world cat5e can support GE but some are a bit kiasu.... the bigger the better

if u need multiple PCs/laptop to be sharing the same OpenNet connection via wired Cat5e or Cat6, yes, you will need a wired router. The setup goes like this. OpenNet TP | | optic fibre | ONT | | cat5e (short) | 4-port router or RG | | | | | | | | | | | | cat5e (long) | | | | | | | |_____ Study room | | |_______ Bedroom 2 | |_________ Bedroom 1 |__________ Living room you need to run 4 lengths of cables from the router to whichever rooms u want. this 4 cables will connect to the 4 ports of the router. it is not enough to just run one length of cable and expect all the other rooms to be connected. If you intend to do away with all the 4 lengthy cat5e cables, then u can just use the wireless portion, nothing will be connected to the 4 ports. the below shows my setup.... where i will be using both wired and wireless to access

Unless u really need that kind of security monitoring with power backup, no point since any potential thief would just cut the incoming power and gain entry to the flat.

Take note dulux L&S is rather thin n may require more coats (more $) to cover if painting a dark surface with lighter ones.
-
That's a big joke. Try asking for other supplier n they will say it's possible. Bottomline is your installer dun wanna absorb the cost n want u to pay for a new one.

the longer-window blind should be done in one continuous length, unless u specify u want them done in smaller sections.... if his done wrongly, then ask him to redo lor....
-
dun tink they provide site-survey services... but no harm asking them, usually for small panels, just measure yourself and spell out the dimensions to them, and they will cut to exact size for u.

maybe just vacuum once in a while when the blown tubes need replacing.... those places sure got lizards and flies that die there one, just koot lat a bit clean, once the house gets older and dirtier, then boh-chup liao ....

haha, kaki lang is always diff to open mouth and talk one.... if ur concrete base is covered with tiles already, then let it be, no need cover anymore wood liao...usually the carpenter will mount the door frames on the internal concrete support and install cabinet doors for that.....
-
are you referring to this? if yes, correct, there will be gaps around the window area that outside light will "leak" inside..... blackout blinds are totally opaque and will not allow light to pass thru at all, even when shining a torchlight on the material.... if can shine thru that is not blackout blinds; they are called perforated blinds, in 3%, 5%, 10% light transmittance... also, if the measurements are taken by them, ask them to make good at no extra cost to u, since as an experienced installer they will factor in the required gaps and allowances....

you need to check with ur contractor is this the correct concrete support kitchen cabinet u asked him to do? good and bad points about kitchen cabinet using concrete support. advantages it will outlast any plywood kitchen cabinet, disadvantages it looks dated in design.... if that is not what u wanted, then better tell the contractor to tear down the entire thing, leaving only the concrete base and make wooden plywood kitchen cabinet, contractor may or may not charge u for the demolition and wastage....
-
acherly u can pop by to see one.... since if they begin tiling, they will start from the kitchen first then move towards the living area.....tink got one moustache guy who will tie a white towel on his head.... u can see his photo in my blog oso .... can knock the tiles to see if their workmanship good anot, no good ask Alan come and u knock his head.....

wa, Louis Vuitton brand wor.... tip: buy some white bumper stickers at hardware shops and paste along the bottom rod to prevent the poles from clanging onto the walls/grilles etc or anywhere that can come in contact whenever strong wind blows.....

keep in mind the unit price of electricity vs gas when u considering electric/gas hob.... induction cookers typically guzzle a significant portion of the power which is comparable to aircon and heater....

Congrats on ur upcoming new home… yes, he does provide space and creative planning and layouts. Rollerblind contacts are as listed on my earlier posting. cost slightly below $800 for 2 blackout blinds (for bedrooms) and 2 perforated blinds (for living room and utility room)... if u are a DIY person, you can shave off another 100+ bucks off the labour costs... It's never too late to start looking for quotes now. From what I know, his schedule is quite bz until CNY next year. Quite a few forummers have signed up with him…
