Now headache as to how this oven supposed to be fixed since I stay in my E-Flat here for 10yrs+. Since U also got oven, hope U can join our cooking & baking classes too

Thx 4yr explanations on Bosch Bosch HBA23B550J (Retail Price : $1299; can get it at $1160) indeed came with only 13amp BUT only 5 cooking programmes ie FAN, TOP & BOTTOM, GRILL with FAN, GRILL . Q: Ariston OS99 DP OPEN SPACE Pyrolytic Oven (15amp) now got promotion at only $1680 with a FREE juice blender. Most importantly with 10 cooking programmes for ppl that doesn't know well abt baking. If I buy Pyro Oven BUT do baking, I supposed that d electric consumption will b d same as Bosch. The 15amp will only concern when I perform d Pyro cleaning that required up to 500 degree heat. Am I right ? Yesterday I went to Bosch factory to make enquiry. The lady told me that as long as I use d plug that "by itself" ie not a sharing lines, then it shdn't hav any prob by using d 15amp oven. 13amp is GD if due to budget BUT I am looking towards long-term basis whr might move towards grilling, roasting, etc. I wd rather pay few hundred extra for self-cleaning instd of CHANGING panels every 2-3yrs with $150-$180. Mayb I'm a bit greedy..... just wanted to get MORE functions rather than a BASIC one that will make me regret in another few more yrs later. So, any1 can give feedback on Ariston OS99 oven ???

Now the Ariston OS99DP got promotion at $1680 with a Free gift of Juice Blender. Is it cheap to go ahead ? BTW, when U do baking, is d glass door "hot" as Ariston only got 3 layer glasses ? Am I correct that U do NOT required any electrician to fix a special plug for yr 15amp oven ? Guessed this infor is very useful to others too Thx a lot for sharing

Dear KM I'm like others too, going to buy a built-in oven BUT dun know which types R good & BETTER. I've learnt d baking classes on & off 4d past 1yr. Alr bought KitchenAid mixer KM150 a yr ago & now is d time to buy an oven HOPEFULLY with EASY functions for baking cakes, grilling chicken, buns & bread, pizza. If HDB Exe Flat that allowing 15amp oven, then I wd like to shortlisted the following Pyrolitic ovens :- * Brandt FP867sx1 ($1550) - 4 layers door (54L with 9 cooking programmes) * Ariston OS99 DP Ix ($1680) itally made - 3 layers door (70L Open Space with 10 cooking programmes) The sales girl fr H/N advised me to take Bosch HBA23B550J (3 glass door) as she said that's d ONLY type of oven that can use in HDB with 13amp & this oven made in Germany. Besides, this BASIC oven does NOT required any changing of the panels as it use ECO cleaning. What is "ECO cleaning" ??? This Bosch only comes with FAN, TOP & BOTTOM, BOTTOM, GRILL with FAN, GRILL. Do I really needs to make sure that d oven i'm lookg must have d functions of "Top & Bottom heats with Fan" ? What is this function for ? Brandt comes with TOP & BOTTOM heats with FAN (Traditional Pulse) but Ariston, I'm NOT sure if it's also with this function. Cld U highlighted if U were to buy, which 1 will U choose & Y ? (ignoring abt d price as I'm OK with $1.8k budget but just wanted to get an oven that last for yrs of use with GD functions !) Preferred Pyro oven not bcoz for grilling now but mayb in future ! Moreover, Brandt catalytic oven required d change of d panels ($150) every 3yrs. In that case, must as well get an oven that does not required further change & with MORE functions ! Thx 4yr infor I actually went to Couseway Pt last Sat to take a look at Aristone OS99DP Pyro OpenSpace Oven. They sell a cabinet at $120 to specially fit it their oven so that we dun hav to look for carpenter to custom-made a kitchen cabinet. Since U R using this oven, may I know whether this oven GD for yr baking, grilling ? Now there is an offer of $1800 plus a free gift of juice blender. I dun know between Brandt Pyro FP867 ($1700) & Ariston OS99 Pyro ($1800), which 1 better ??? Any1 can give further advice if I can get Brandt at $1550 (9 cooking programme) while Ariston at $1700 (10 cooking Programme), which 1 will give a GD functions in baking out a GD cake, grilling delicious chicken ??? Which 1 will use MORE electricity ???

Hi All, Till now, I still didn't get the CLEAR answer for my querries & I really need to have the RIGHT advice in order to make my decisions :- (i) Bosch Eco Cleaning HBA23B550J ($1160), Brandt Pyrolitic FP867sx1 ($1700) & Sharp Helsio Steam Oven ($1100). Which 1 is d BEST of all in terms of baking cakes, pau, bun, bread, grilling, pizza, roast chicken, baked rice, etc ? Can Helsio do those besides for steam fish / veg ? (ii) Bosch (13AMP) using 3D hot air. What is 3D hot air ? Unstand that it does not as hot as the Brandt oven that using Top, Bottom heat with fan. Does that mean Bosch using MORE electricity in baking cakes & grilling ? (iii) Bosch only 5 cooking modes : 5 cooking programs: Grilling, Hot air grilling - great for meat or poultry where a rotisserie effect is required, Bottom heat - good for blind baking and bain-marie cooking, Hot air cooking, Conventional top & bottom heat. Q: Can they bake a GOOD Pizza ??? My girls love pizza & I can only buy 1 oven that hopefully allows me to do ALL things that I want. (iv) Brandt Pyro oven (15AMP) known as EASY cook oven with 9 Cooking Modes: • Circulating Heat • Traditional Eco • Traditional • Traditional Pulsed • Pulsed Bottom Element • Pulsed Grill • High Grill • Grill + Rotisserie • Low Temperature stabilisation Q: What is the function of "Turnspit" for in Brandt oven ? I'm very CONFUSE abt these as some say "YES" but some say "NO". In order to buy a built-in oven, I've to look for a carpenter to custome make a built-in kitchen cabinet of (100 x 60 x 142)cm that will cost $600. Therefore, I'm thinking of buying Helsio table top Steam Oven that does NOT require those troubles & additional expenses. However, I already have a National Dimention 4 Microwave/Convection Oven. Guessed shd considered "old" type like mine ! U better chk with yr contractor what will happen if U use d Pyro cleaning that surges up to 500watts ! If he said U can't use it, then U've to AVOID using it ! Is better to know yr own machine's accessibility 1st b4 U use it esp in HDB flat that only allowed up to 13AMP !

How long hav U use yr Pyro Oven ? Was yr oven install by yr contractor that hav done something 4U 1st ? Hav U use d Pyro cleaning that using up to 500watts ??? Is yr HDB "old" or "new" type ? If new type, guessed it cld allowed up to 15AMP !

I bought on-line fr USA a Double Blade Wolfgang Puck Programmable Bread Maker. It reached Sin within 8 days. When I switched on the machine, the lights turn on & off IMMEDIATELY with a beep sound heard. Thereafter, it just GONE (die already) When I told the incident to my HB, he then telling me that it was bcoz Sin using 220 voltage while US using 110. So, I went to the Hardware shop to buy AC/Dc converter but the max voltage for that small plug is only 60watts wheareas the bread machine requires 800watts ! I love this DOUBLE BLADE machine where Sin only use SINGLE blade. Whr shd I approach HELP in fixing up my bread machine or have it CONVERT to Singapore's voltage ? Cld any1 tell me whr shd I seek for HELP so that I wun hav to put aside my machine ??? What did others do when they bought d machines fr USA ???

Finally decided to buy a built-in oven BUT after reading all d related threads posted up here, I realised that I staying in HDB E-Flat & Brandt Pyro ($1899) is using 15AMP. I really like that oven as it's givben 9 cooking options which is gd for ppl like me. Bosch catalytic ($1299) is the only oven that using 13AMP but only 5 cooking options. I hope to bake a nice pizza for my girls, roast chicken during CNY, bake cakes, pies & buns once a week. Q1: Can I insist buying Brandt FP867sx1 but dun use it's Pyro clearning so that it wun hit 15AMP ? Is HDB allowed us to fix this oven ? Q2: Is it true that Bosch catalytic oven do NOT required changing of d panels every 2 yrs like what Brandt 842 does ??? Q3: If can only choose 1 of the oven betwn Bradt 842 & Bosch HBA23B550J, which 1 will b BETTER & suitable for me ? I'm still headache to look for a contractor as was told that oven only deliver to me & I need to look for a contractor to fix in for me. In that sense, I wd need to request that this oven be placed on the table level instd of below the stove.
