Lousy Experience With Agent
edenstrauss replied to icer's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
If I were to look at the flat, I'll back out becox like what U've indicated, it needs a 100% facelift. Don't seemed to be able to retain anything in the flat, not at all. -
Whoa, U've got alot of stamina even though U're working & I'm sure very very busy in the office! But it shows that U've got very good energy & probabbly good luck too!

Hi Mae29, I'm so sorry to hear about your son's high heart beat rate. But not to worry too much becox things will settle in due course. Perhaps he had taken too much heaty food? It'll lead to certain medical conditions such as heart palpitations in some people. I've got palpitations myself as it's genetic. All the daughters from my side of family have inherited my mother's genes. And when all of us got ourselves checked by the heart surgeons, he couldn't find any issues at all. But I did notice that when I eat certain types of food, especially white-coloured vegetables & deep fried stuff, the palpitations will turn on the following day. What I figured out thru my chinese sinseh & what I've been reading about health (from the TCM perspective) is that I'm lacking in Qi. Oily food will impede the blood flow & thus the Qi further weakens. If this condition is prolonged, my health constitution weakens, then those palpitations will come on. Many years ago, it got so bad that after I clear out my bowels when I wake up in the morning, I feel very weak & faint after that. The sinseh explained that it was becox the last breath of Qi in my body was used to push out the stools. Meaning that my body is definitely lacking in Qi. No good, it's like waiting for bad things to happen - she said that the same theory applies for fengshui when a house is lacking in Qi. Hey I'm sorry for providing such unpleasant details ... especially early in the morning
-
Wow u've got a nice, beautiful, big big house! It looked so much better than its original state.
-
Hi mae29, wow that's alot to be covered... I'm sure that it's something abstract. I borrowed DVD box set on 易经 for health and it featured a talk given by a professor 易; I couldn't quite appreciate what was said about the Yin-Yang methodology being applied to different occupations. Their 5 elements weren't read in the same order as in fengshui and he started off with wood first.
-
And about 易经 , have u heard of it? I have a very vague understanding of it. Something about Yin-Yang balance.
-
Whoa if this is the case, it's very risky during audit leh... So does that mean that during our fengshui audit, we have to turn off ALL our electrical appliances? Will that work? If they go to graveyards to audit, then it should be very accurate becox I didn't think there would be much intereferences from electromagnetic field right?

After applying for first-timer grants, the owners will need to pay back the amount (not sure if it includes accrued interest) when they reapply for a new flat thru HDB. I was told by the HDB officer that this is due to parity issue since we've benefited for the first time. They've made it so complicated with policies that it's not so easy to just sell off & shift another flat nowadays. haiz...

I think ur brother is unrepentant. He still doesn't realise how severe the matter is & how it had affected the rest of the family members. Sorry to say this but he doesn't deserve kind family members like yourself & your aunts. Incorrigible!

When we bought our matrimonial flat 10 yrs ago from the previous owners, the first thing we did was to quickly install a new padlock for the main gate. This is a must like what the rest of us had suggested in your thread! It's because of security issue. Unless you mean that there isn't any loop to hold the padlock onto the gate? Like if we were to rent out our rooms to tenants, once their TA ends, we too need to buy another padlock to be used. Just imagine, ex-tenants coming back to tamper with our gate!?! Unacceptable becox it's a breach of security!

Whoa, like that means that the Yin energy is so strong that normal humans cannot stay inside & those spiritual beings will love the place right? R such flats generally dark & dimly lit? Any idea if there are such flats in Singapore? The luopan is not easy to use because I watched on a program that the user need to adjust the luopan on their own. The free luopan program: is that from iphone? Paiseh, I don't use iphone so not familiar with their programs.
-
Aiyo so terrible! Yuks! R these tenants from the service industry?
-
What is the nationality of your ex-tenants? S'poreans? Singapore PR?
-
Eh, I'm a scary cat, very scared, don't dare to read leh But I think that block number had a number '5' for the 2nd digit of the block number. Duno is it 75, 85 or not sure... They had many blocks in a cluster but only this particular block was haunted. 1 aunty claimed that her family heard slamming on her door, very intense, loud & urgent banging & slamming. Becox hers was a corridoor unit, she & her daughter inlaw went to the room along the corridoor to peep out of the window but there was nobody standing outside their main door! Whoa that was scary!

It's best to drop such tenants becox they don't understand simple logic & human language. I'm sorry if I came across as harsh in saying such things but isn't it clear enough to people with normal IQ that cannot bring people home = cannot bring friends/ relatives/ boyfriends back to stay? Can vomit blood & get high blood pressure when speaking to such people. So better don't get them as tenants.
-
Hi Angelina, This tenant ought to be given the sack. Who does he think he is? Like the owners were drawing a livelihood on his rental fees & owe him a living? He ought to be asked to move off from the room. By the way, what's the nationality of this tenant? Is he a Singaporean, Singapore PR? And did the owner specify in the TA (tenancy agreement) that he is only allowed to use the washing machine and washing of clothes twice a week? It sounds like this tenant is a clean freak.
-
I would highly recommend you our family TCM but she is a Singapore PR whose based here in Singapore for the past 10 years. Qualified with her own TCM clinic. Her native country is China (Beijing) and she used to work for the state hospital in Beijing (Beijing general hospital). It worked really well for me after being sickly for more than 5 years; went to see so many sinsehs until I gave up hope. Then finally, found her thru the chinese newspapers & she pin pointed out the problem. After consulting for 3 months, she stopped my treatment & told me to buy a type of tonic to eat - she doesn't sell the tonic so I bought the item in the form of pills from Eu Yan Sang. And since then, I'm glowing with health If you are interested, I can PM you the name of her TCM clinic & contact details.

I just found out from Joey Yap's DVD on fengshui mastery that having a fridge next to a stove (and presumably opposite it) is fine becox the Qi inside the fridge is "frozen". So having such a layout isn't going to have any diverse effects Felt so relieved after watching the DVD becox my fridge & stove r directly opposite each other and more than 8 feet apart.

I heard from old neighbours at bedok that there was a very notorious block of flats which was well-known for its incessant hauntings. It got so bad that there was so many change of ownerships in those units for that particular block, to the extent that the government had no choice but to tear down the block & until today, it's still an empty piece of land. Has anybody heard of this? Those old uncles & aunties claimed that the older generation of bedok residents will know about it. I wondered if this was an example of 空亡宅 because the claims were that ALL the units for that block were haunted. The residents who used to stay there hallucinated, fell sick, got unlucky with their finances, ran into accidents, and whatever tragedies anybody could think of.
-
The town council cleaner jux washed the floorings for my block. And the water does get spluttered all over the gate & it managed to get into my home even with the groove at my door... But still not too bad. Some neighbours install their own transparent acrylic panels (those hard type, can get from Asiatic Panels) at the bottom. Will u be doing that too?
-
Oh yes, one more question: R there any other methods or tell-tale signs that it's a 空亡宅 besides getting a luo-pan or an expert to take a look at the place? Whoa that's really scary!
-
Hi Mae29, thanks for sharing & uploading the diagram on the 空亡宅. That sounds really interesting! But for layman like us, if we were to step into a house which is under such a category, we wouldn't even know a thing! Not sure if it's true or not, but there are 空亡穴 whereby the government would reserve those parts of the land for places of worship, police stations or fire stations or whatever law-enforcing related stations. I wondered if those taoists temples running along old tampines road r sitting on one!!! Heard plenty of eerie stories associated with that place.

Hi Mae29, I went into this website to look at most of the ziwei stars, with all its effects cited & described in most of the "palaces": http://www.zw-star.com/dssd/ShowArticle.asp?ArticleID=11 Very interesting but those tiny fine prints in chinese gives me a headache though...
