My husband and I purchased a sofa set from the company in February 2010. We did tell the salesperson then that we have yet to start renovating our new home. Nonetheless, she persuaded us to make payment for the set, saying that the offer price and freebie will not last. Our initial scheduled delivery was end of May 2010.
There were indeed delays in the renovation of our home and we had to reschedule the delivery twice. Both times, we called about a week in advance to inform the company. Our most recent attempt to change the date was attended to by another staff. She was very upset with us, saying that our postponing of the date will affect the other customers. She added that the company has to store our purchase and therefore cannot fulfill its obligations to those customers. She hoped there would be no further changes to our order.
We were shocked and disappointed at the unpleasantness of her tone. The other retailers whom we called were definitely more cordial. This will be our first and last purchase from the company for sure.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will be no more delays. I have already told my husband he will be the one to call them should anything crop up.
