I think it comes down to how often u use the remote control. I only use when during housewarming, gatherings like it only happen once or twice a yr. My electrical pricing not finalized yet. So couldn't be able to share with u.

Day 24 - Lightings Installation Completed! Received a call from ID that lightings were installed on Friday. So we cant wait and head up to take alook. My mom and sis also popped by to see how "big" our place is. But to our little dismay, the service yard and MBR foyer were installed with the wrong colour light. So got to wait for the rectification when my dining light is up near handover date. Remote for downlights in Living Area Cosy Living Area MBR Lighting installed! MBR Foyer lighting installed but with wrong colour

no T5 in mbr bathroom, cos my vanity cabinet is all the way to the box mah. but still pondering whether to get for common bathroom. haha!

don have to dismantle mah. mine just remove the cover, and start drilling to lead the trunking to the aircon ledge. ur aircon trunking not in 1 bathroom but 2 of them?

inside the box for trunking leading to aircon ledge Below the box up is for trunking leading the water to flow out to the drain pipe. I will take more pictures inside the box up later today.

All 3 fancoil units are run through Mbr then to the bathroom. For bto flats, there are concealed pipes in the bathrooms. Thus, the guys run the aircon piping through the concealed and that's how they run to aircon ledge.

There's a drawstring in the conduit. Cat 5e/6 is for wired connection in other areas of ur flat I suppose. I going through wireless instead hence no usage of these cables.

the picture attached got a long conduit, thats for opennet lor, now is hide within false ceiling

cos bedroom 1 trunking is going in U shaped, thus bedroom 2 no trunking. in regards how i do it, i really donno leh... have to ask the gain city guys. haha!

ya, kiasu abit mah. cos i left about 20+days before handover. LOL! Thanks! Initially the grey colour shldnt appear in the living room, should be black though. But the wrong painted colour turns out fine too, so no change to black. So when's ur wedding? move in during wedding? Yes, lightings will be installed tomorrow. Carpentry still no news yet, fabrication under process....

Inlet/outlet pipes for City Gas Water heater are also installed! Day 20 - Aircon Installation complete! Waited for the gain city guys to arrive at 10.30am. Went through some discussions and finalized the trunking layout. Due to the fancoil unit that we chose, we couldnt place them on top of each door. Everything was completed by 3pm. This team of guys are very fast and good in their workmanship. They even cleaned up before they left. Thumbs up! Compressor nicely installed! BR 1 with the most trunkings BR 2 MBR

Day 19 - Painting works Went over to take alook at the current progress. All the false ceilings are up and also are the painting works! Living TV feature wall painted! Dining area wall painted! HHS door & frame painted! MBR TV feature wall painted!

Today is my most busy day. Went to Sembawang Lighting House to pick up the 13 downlights that i have ordered around 2pm. Then went back to fetch my inlaws and we set off to Geylang to look for Guanyin Statue. Din see what we like and we head to Si Ma Lu. We at least went to 10shops selling the statues, Opp Fu Lu Shou complex and those that are nearby the Si Ma Lu GuanYin temple. From 3+pm to 5pm, we finally got the statue that we like, a 28" tall one. Thanks to my parents in law who spend the whole afternoon with us. Tml my fil will help us bring the statue to Kai Guang & chant prayers till we decided on the date to bring the buddha into our flat. Should be either 12 June or 19 June as recommend by our family fren. Tomorrow will be another long day. Going to my place to take alook and see Mr Low install castle lock in one of Jadespring resident unit. After that, need to head to Chong Pang to buy the doorbell. And i need to rush off to my hub's fren place for BBQ in the evening. I dont even have time to rest. haiz... but im feeling very happy cos things are getting in place very smoothly.
