You mean, i'll just have to tell my ID quartz surface and he will know? Btw do you know if there's ready made ones? Many thanks -
I've recently signed up with a shop to get my curtains done. I'm doing Day and Night for living and master, roller blinds for study. Thou its a condo but because of bay windows so my height is really not that high. I was charged about $2200. is it too expensive? my friends said that it shouldn't be so ex. i went back to the shop to check with them and they said it's because the material i chose are all expensive cloth... till now, they didn't call me back to confirm my selection... i've paid 50% deposit already....

According to my research, the payment structure with every firm is about the same. i suppose u didn't go thru the payment structure with your id? if u have paid 60% already, then they should have started on the carpentry work in their factory. i think its going to be about 35% when they install everything and 5% when they hand over the keys. If i didn't remember wrongly it should be that way cause i don't have my contract on hand right now so can't confirm it. -

really? i went to close to 10 IDs before signing up with them. I wouldn't say they are the cheapest but definitely one of the lowest. hmmm... i'm surprise to find that you said its 25% more. Cause i compared mine with friends, they said mine so cheap! haha i tot i had a good bargan as well. look more see more and find an id whom you feel u can trust and work with. if not, you are going to get a big headache. -

their workload is really hectic. imagine owners like us, so gan cheong about our place, keep bugging them! hahah one owner 5 phone calls a day. if he has 5 owners on hand, that is like 25 calls minimum. and that excludes sms and emails. haha i don't know about you guys, but i haven't been going up to see see my place often. i think i only drop by like once or twice a week if i happen to pass by. I won't go down specially to check on the works done. i'm really leaving everything in my id's hands and trust that he will deliver on time and the house will be exactly what i imagined it to be. friends said i shouldn't be so trusting. haha so i guess i'm taking a gamble by trusting my id so much. i'm sure my id will do his best. after all, he will hope that i would recommend future clients to him or when pple see my house, they will ask for the id. at this point, i will say i'll recommend my id highly. haha so, onecowcookie, i admired your effort in going down everyday! keep it up! -
i was told to place my partition so near my balcony that it couldn't afford the space for my sofa! so i asked him to get me another position and he did. though i really don't like the idea of putting up a partition but hubby believes... so... no choice la. spend money on fs already so got to listen right? but i try my best to do what i can. if i can't then too bad. hahaha minor changes are fine. that's what he said.

i'm looking for that kind of clock too! however, i only want the clock hands and i want to use crystals for the numbers. I can't find something that's perfect yet, thou. if you know where to get, let me know pls~~~ btw, this is my other consideration, using own picture to de personalised clock. you can take a look. if i can't find my first choice, i'll go for this then. take a look. http://www.hourstyle.com/our-products/personalized-print/

Reliable Id
alisa replied to CDbi's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
Hi CDbi. I'm in the midst of my reno. My id is Darren from plush living. If you are still on the lookout, i recommend my id strongly! you can consider him seriously. I met close to 10 IDs before deciding on him so you can imagine how picky i am. haha Good luck! may you find an id you can work with. -

Good to hear that chocho. I guess you wont regret your choice. I've just signed my final contract 1hr ago. yeah, my id, Darren stayed with us till 11plus! haha electrical works already done and ceiling works completion by this week. my id finally collected money from us! i feel really secure with this firm. i can't describe how happy i am with my id. cause he is responsible, reliable and efficient. i've heard so many horror stories about ids but i definitely feel my house is in good hands here. So await your 3d drawings! meanwhile see more magazines. tear our pictures that you like and put them in a folio so you could show your id what you want. Good luck!
