lynd3ralla replied to blowtoenhance's topic in Reno t-Blog Chat
Need any help on laminates, PM me. Will be willing to give you a comparison on these 2 types of flooring. Also bamboo flooring..which is very expensive! -
wowwee i love your sea view!! Its got the calming effect. I think you bought your house at a high price? That kind of view is so much better than staying in the city and overlooking all the skyscrapers.

Home & Furnishing: Certain about curtains!
lynd3ralla replied to delonchew's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
I thought I can get curtains cheaply. But man, they are so ex...and the designs not very fantastic. So I just opt for roller blinds. Just to share my experience. Did my whole house at $1120 for a 5room...the old type of 5 room...where the windows are from end to end. So it saved me alot. Have not installed it yet..will let you know if the company is worth mentioning... -
Few Pieces Of My Laminate Flooring Has Popped Out
lynd3ralla replied to shalom73's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
I did Supreme for mine 10yrs back, and the laminates popped out too. And I went back to them. Asking them to replace. They say because the designs are so old already, they are obselete design. Ask me why dont relay....faint HAHA, i was thinking to myself. Give 10 or 20yrs warranty also no use. What matters is will you still have the same design of laminates after 2 decades? These warranty sometimes very gimmicks. So now, when I look for laminates, they tell me 15yrs warranty. I ask them this question and they have nothing to say. -
Good Painter And Plumber To Recommend
lynd3ralla replied to Joel Ng's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
Often now, people source painters from the burmese helperrs. Mine was a burmese too. Very efficient and cheap. You may PM me if you want to contact them. Or if you need other types of contractors. I just did up my house in Pasir Ris. email me: lynd3ralla@yahoo.com Did my whole house 5room at under $700. I provided the paints of course. I bought alot of paint..i think about 10colours. And I bought Dulux means it cost a little higher, total paint works, $1200. Usually IDs charge my paintworks at a hefty $1900..due to the no. of colours I chose. So you can save alot if you find the separate contractors yourself. -
wowee.cityview at boonkeng I loove that DBSS, so regret did not buy.. Haha. But I could not wait so long, now already shifting to my new place. Anyone need contacts for contractors, please PM me. Im glad to help.

HI all I am into the last stage of my reno. carpentry. And i source for my contractors from hacking to flooring to painting myself. Because I am a desinger (10yrs back) lol. If you like any advise or their contacts. Just drop me an email or PM me: lynd3ralla@yahoo.com Will even open my house for viewing of their quality.haha..i stay in Pasir Ris btw..

Hi all I recently did up my 5rm in pasir ris. I went around to source for an ID, and those so called contractors. Then the prices are not very far off. Btw, I used to be a interior designer, and I know how ID mark up their prices. The only plus point: you do get an advantage over their value added design advices. In the end, I did up the whole place myself, with my design knowledge. Found a few good contractors on renotalk, thanks to those that helped. And saved a whopping 8k on my reno works. BUT, you need to sacrifice your time. I am very very very fortunate to find responsible contractors. So if anyone reading this needs their contacts. Or if you wish to see pics of my house...jus drop me a PM. Good luck in your house reno!

4 Room Model A
lynd3ralla replied to cbson's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
I did overlay for my own house. You have to note that if your previous owner did overlaying before, you cannot do overlaying twice. SO always check and ask before you proceed. But I am sure the contractor will know if it can be done. -
If you want a contractor, instead of an ID firm. I can recommend some of my contacts to you. Personally, I did up my own house myself. Did not engage any ID firm. Did you know how much you can save if you get a direct contractor? But of course, you have a price to pay. And that is time. So, if you want to save $ in exchange for time, you should consider getting contractors. You can find them on renotalk forums. Or you may PM me for the various contractors I have engage for my house. Good luck!

Hi there I saw these bar stools at powerhouse in st james. My first thought was, they look uncomfortable. Then when I sat on it...wow..it really fits my bu** nicely. Amazingly, although its made of iron and feels cold, I found it comfortable and relaxed. I am thinking of getting those too. Any help where I can get them?

I found my painter through another forumer, he is a myanmar. And his quotation is cheap. And responsible. However, they can only work on sats and suns. So if you still require his quotation, pls PM me.

Have anyone here heard of krono+swiss? I am installing it for my house. Their colour range is much more than other brands I have seen ley. I got it cheap too. PM me if you want to see pics.

Hi there I love your curtains...but i will be going for roller blinds instead..bcuz i have 2 boys which can ruin those expensive curtains..haha May I know what is the average price of your curtains per sqft? If they are cheap, I can perhaps get it for my living area. Thanks for the help! -
Hiya...beautiful place. The wall at the living room caught my eye... Are those painted by a designer... (maybe yourself, haha) or wallpaper? Please let me know the cost, to do that type of effect, if you dun mind. Tastefully done. And I have to say this, please put those stainless steel railings on!!!..they look **** scary..haha but kudos to your braveness to explore something new! Nice!
