Totally agree. Thats why i decided to do my own house and find separate contractors. It was tiring. However, very time consuming. I just read your T-blog. Really good choice of laminates! I wonder y I did not see any of those in my laminate brands. In the end, my house all types of laminates in the brown tones. Please email me at lynd3ralla@yahoo.com But please note that carpenters have their own 'design'...this fella belong to the traditional era, so if you want complicated designs. he is definitely not the guy you looking for. But workmanship wise, i give him 8/10.

Wow contractor ran away...goodness..im sick and tired of such irresponsible buggars..I also recently did my house..n met a few sour fellas. Wad is worse is after I moveed in, I realised my water pipes all choked with cement debris. That idiot who threw cement waste into my water drain is **** crap! Now my water cant flow properly...its crap I tell u. Now I have to dismantle my carpentry to get to the hidden pipes. There are really alot of worse stories den you can imagine. However stick to your guns and play smart..be nice to them...and tell them balance payment can only after 15days after you move in. Where can you run honestly, the contractor knows where you stay right? After you move-in..u will realise...some things do fall apart...and because u make full payment...these buggars dun bother coming back. And you had to pay extra to get other sources to come n help you. Thats wad happened to me. And so hold your payment of 45k to him..if he does come back.

west plaza has this malay stall..they have a 'bapok' serving you. lol..but their queue is always long. and good nice spicy belachan. Very nice beef rendang too. Must try. Beside their stall also sells goreng pisang and stuffs...very fresh. Also worth to try if you are there. I think it is the Kopitiam food court.

oh my...30k..for 3 room is pretty expensive..anyway you can find separate contacts to lower your cost. Eg: Painters, carpentry, laminate flooring.. Usually the profit is taken the most from carpentry, painting, and flooring. LOL. I can give you the contacts if you are interested to get separate contractors.

I have made the effort to go JB to get a track LED lighting. Bought them at 3 for a 1m track for 165RMB. Loooks good too. But, of course, not Philips LED...some Malaysia brand. But still works..put them in my toilet. And have been switching it on and off for the past week. So far so good...

i feel LED prices are still too ex for now..waiting for them to drop further..when the demand for it is more. I used t4 for my cove lightings/platform..and the only drawback is that you can see some 'gaps' of shadow in between. But the disadvantage to LED is the **** transformer...must buy so many for individual switches..goodness...in the end...i gave that idea up..

highly recommended is my painter, windows/grilles, laminate flooring. The rest, I don't recommend mine. If you need help, just PM me.

moving to my house next week. BOught a tecno hob...and UNO hood at a package price of $588...its my first time using these brands..Isit cheap? suppose since they have been in the industry long, should be quite credible..lol

Hi guys, Interesting!!!! I couldn't care less as what some mentioned about rumours or the large + confusing krono group. I am a patron of this restaurant which I frequent, but within their same group, I hated the other restaurant food. SO...you pay what you know is worth, or like. Yes we all come from the same umbrella brand. I openly say I am the distributor of kronosw+ss in Singapore. And the difference is in the quality and range of design. What differs kronosw+ss is that it is made in switzerland with germany technology. And kronosw+ss does not distribute nor share their designs with other krono group in singapore. We each carry our own design, and there are no clashes. As such I hope this is clear. It is entirely up to the buyer to choose his preferred design and budget. Germany or swiss or US made, it doesnt matter. As long as you check at the back of the plank, if they have the certified chop, you are safe. I know some companies here have that china bluff rumour. Would like to relight this thread. That if you are going for homogenous flooring, they have designs that look like laminate flooring. But of course without the warm feeling under your feet. Besides, laminate flooring is still cheaper. I did laminate flooring from Kronosw+ss for my house. PM me if you want to see the pics and prices.
