Unless u are doing hacking u do not need to gat a hdb permit and if u are free to co ordinate then u should get seperate ppl but u also have to consider after installation and rewiring if your toilets leak its additional cost for u as they might not come back when u call them and if they do u pay labour and transport charges.But if u get a contractor they oversea everything any thing goes wrong u push it to them.Worst case senario is whole house gets short circuit its their fault u get it done free.Thats the benefit of a contractor anything u not happy dont be scared just tell them off.U pay for it what no free service in the world. My guy charged me $180 to change toilet bowl and basin. gallon heater $80 for installation.My electrician charges $90 1 heater point and $44 per single plug double is $65.(5 above)For shelves u can get them to just drill on for you per toilet *** $20. U can use this as a pricing guide line.

No if your tiles are chipped they can use hand chippng to take out the tiles and replace.If your cup laminates are damaged they can relaminate the whole thing.And if the tiler uses the machine they have to cut it will not chipped after drying it will be CRACKING effect not chipped corners.U see if u call a tiler on your own he charges u labour and transport so why pay again??And for first wash u should not use bleach as it removes the shine.

Yup u can and check how much they charge u cause they get it cheaper than us.

Hi just wanna ask if u really on tight budget why dont u overlay instead??Cause 18mm kitchen cabinet is only$95 per ft run and solid top is $65.And how abt power points and connecting pipes tpo your WC and basin??And are they going to give u hot and cold water piping or u using instant heater?Are they going to charge u for lighting?How abt the chipping needed when they are going to hack nearby your kitchen cabinet?Haulage or Hdb permit?Waterproffing and acid wash??Sorry but when looking for a reno contractor for my mum i realised there were a lot of hiddden cost.

Hi my 2 cents worth,acid wash should be done before your cabinets are install after installing carpentary if the workers made a mess call up the ID and tell him/her.Then take photos and hire those $10 per hr to clean up and deduct from final payment but u have to havr date ND TIME ON THE PHOTO,.And all put final touch up for everything.My mum' house is undergoing reno and 2 of the tiles are chipped.I called up the co-ordinator and the next day tiler came to replace.

Hi my mum is doing this to one of the walls in her hall as it is fully tiled.We decided to make it a feature wall instead.Maybe u can paint it a darker shade and use the wall stickers they have to make it look better if u are concern abt it looking boring.Kitchen 2 can have feature wall i feel.
