Well, dun be.....tis is the 2nd time i'm buying from them, 1st time was about 6yrs back and paid $5K+ for dining set, customised fabric sofa, coffee table & TV console. Infact till now, you still can see the dining set, coffee table & Tv console in their IFC showroom (its those Zen-nish dark wood type, dining set is with the ''Z'' shaped chairs) . Classic but ''old'' design No issue with my 1st set with them, everything was good and smooth. This time round, I got myself a KG sofa ($5K+ oso) but to play smart, i've only paid 1/2 of it and add in a few terms and conditions of my own It does helps that my wife is heading a sales team and she insisted on adding the additional T&C in our invoice. Funny thing is that i still commit with them despite reading their bad reviews. But i guess its the design and quality that really captures our heart and trust me, both me and & wife really went around to see all other popular brands mentioned by this forum, less those super duper expensive type lah before we finally settled for this. End of the day, as a consumer, we must learn to protect our own interest. Purchasing any product can be a daunting process (regardless from which retailer / company cos even the biggest company and screw you up big time) but I guess we can really mitigate and minimize these bad experiences by doing our own homework and exercise due diligence before signing on the dotted line

IMHO, tis is quite a nice piece of lamp but its getting more and more and more common and well.... dated.....no one will give you the 'wooow' look anymore..... unless they are from some village of sorts..... You see this in many design mag i'm sure. So do you wana be 'just another digit' ?? While many can argue almost all newly reno HDB uses the 'same' downlights, 'same' aircon, 'same' fan, 'same' fridge' etc etc, do bear in mind that this is a very signature piece of 'display' and its poses as a double edged weapon when you have it in your unit, replica or not.....

I really cant tell the diff. Although plasma should have e best PQ, I find LCD / LED equally good / better in most instances but maybe tats just me and my super untrained eyes ....Mega quoted me $3180 for this 55' model, which I feel its very value for $$ (price, size & specs wise) as compared to Pioneer / Panny plasma, or any other makes of LED TV for that matters

This is 1 of my shortlisted TV but i last heard from a SE in MEGA tat Sharp only provide 1 year warranty for its panel ya?

Bro vicenzo70, I'm oso looking for TV. Care to comment on the PQ of LG's latest offering, Infinia LE5500 - Full HD LED TV? Its 1980 x 1080, 100Hz with contrast ration of 5,000,000:1 Can i say its as good as Plasma (PQ wise)? I'm very noob on these and can only relate the 3 mentioned figures when doing my comparision
