Hi everyone,
I had recently purchased an EA (resale) that is reasonably well renovated. The only reason why we decided to buy the flat was becos we like the reno (most of it) and it was within the price that we wanted. Believe me, the COV some flats are demanding are ridiculous even for those flats that have min reno. Back to my story, becos we like some bits of the reno, i am wondering how hard will it be to ask an ID to work around the reno that we like but adding on some bits to make it different and how much will that cost for my particular scenario? I dont need tiling, and we plan to keep the kitchen cabinets and walk in wardrobe (since its only been recently installed by the owners and we do like the look of both carpentry). Bascially, i only plan to merge my balcony and my living room by flushing it with the living room or having a platform at the balcony that connects to the living room. And how much will it cost to do up a master room taking into consideration that im keeping the walk in wardrobe. Lastly, becos we want to keep some bits of the current reno, will hiring an ID be worth it? Or will any ID be willing take on this kind of project since its not the usual case of designing the whole place from scratch? The owner also gave me the name card of the previous ID (A&D designer's group) and i am wondering if its wise to go back to him. THanks for ploughing through all my questions but any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
