Hi, Anyone using the Hunter Douglas shades and blinds? Really like the Luminette Privacy Sheers. The shop I went to quote me $6950 just for the balcony sliding door area. Anyone know whether the price for Hunter Douglas blinds is controlled/fixed? Or possible to get cheaper quotes? Any other shops selling similiar vertical blinds/shades/sheers? Thanks

Hmmm, my quote for another wall is $780...3300*full height...

Hi, I'm also very confused with the type of materials to use for my bay windows. Went to two IDs, First ID says solid wood top not suitable---will crack, warp, discolouration, etc. He suggest solid top--black galaxy (still waiting for quotation) Second ID says solid top is for table top, not worth paying to sit on, and quote the following: Design & construct 1set of 2600mm length solid wooden ply settee in solid ply laminated finishing--$510 And while checking out planter decking, sales guy suggest this: Merbau/Oak solid top-- $30 psft Need some advise; Is it true that solid wood top not lasting? Is the second ID quote = plywood with laminates? What is the cost for mid-range solid top? Thanks!
